Exploring the Forest

Camping by the Lake

It took us a few hours, but Rosa and I not only found the river, but also a Lake. This would be the perfect place for us to find a Water Pokémon. Thankfully, we didn't encounter any Bug Catchers on the way here, however, due to how late it was by the time we got here, it would be safer for us to wait until morning. We decided to let out our Pokémon and let them out of their Pokéballs and explore the area where we planned on camping for the night. I was setting up the tents, and Rosa volunteered to cook dinner for us. Once I finished setting up the tents, I checked with Rosa about what was on the menu for dinner tonight, but whatever it was, it smelt good.

"Wow, Rosa, that smells good. What is it?" I asked her.

"This is a soup that my Mom and I perfected. It's easy to make, and the ingredients can be easily gained at the markets or found naturally in the wild," she replied.

"Well, it certainly makes me hungry," I said, looking at our Pokémon. However, I noticed two of them were missing. "Hey Rosa, where are Lucy and Vivian?"

"Oh, I asked them to look for some firewood, but they should have been back by now," she said.

At that moment, an explosion happened not too far away from us, "Stay here, I'm going to check it out and see what is going on." I said as I left to see what caused the explosion in the first place. As I did, I found out who was causing the explosions; Lucy and Vivian were fighting each other. I sighed and waited for a break in the fight. Once I saw it, I approached them.

"Stop!" I shouted, which got their attention, "What is going on here?"

"Master! Vivian was being mean to me and attacked me for no reason!" Lucy spoke with her telepathy. I raised an eyebrow at that accusation while Vivian was shouting her name over and over again.

"Enough! I don't care who started it and what caused this to happen. I think both of you need some time to cool off until dinner." I said, pulling out both of their Pokéballs, "Lucy, Vivian return." I called them back to their balls and headed back to the camp. I sighed and shook my head as I entered the camp.

"Everything okay?" Rosa asked.

"Yeah, but Vivian and Lucy were fighting for some reason," I said.

"Any reason why?" she asked.

"Don't know, really, but I recalled them to their Pokéballs until dinner was ready," I said, taking a seat on the chair I had set up. I pulled out Vivian's ball and just looked at it, "Vivian isn't a combative Pokémon, so I don't understand why she would fight Lucy for no reason."

-Inside Vivian's Pokéball. POV: Vivian-

Vivian was inside her ball, curled up in a ball and crying, "Master. I'm sorry. I-I don't want to lose you, Master." she said as she remembered the conversation with Lucy before they started to fight each other.

Lucy and I were out in the forest gathering some fresh firewood for the fire to cook our dinner. I saw this as the perfect opportunity to connect with Lucy. We were talking and bonding, at least that's what I thought.

"You should give up," Lucy said to me. I was confused by what she meant.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Our Master, I know you love him more than just a Pokémon should for their Master. You see him as a potential mate to you." Lucy said.

"What?! What are you talking about?! I don't think about that about Master." I stammered out with a bright blush on my cheeks.

"You don't need to lie to me. It's written all over your cheeks. You would love nothing more for that to happen to you, but it won't happen." she said.

A pang of anger passed through me, "Excuse me?" I asked.

"You cannot speak to our Master in a way that he understands. All he hears is your name. Vee, vee, Eevee is all that he can hear from you. All he will see is his Pokémon and nothing more, and never be able to say what your real feelings are," she said. I didn't want to admit it, but she was right, "But I, on the other hand, will be able to tell him exactly how I feel about him thanks to my telepathy ability. So, do us both a favor, quit while you're ahead, and stop embarrassing yourself."

I looked down to the ground as anger and rage were building up as tears fell from my eyes, "Shut up," I quietly said.

"What? Speak up, will you? One way or another, I'll be able to make Master mine, and-" "SHUT UP!" I used Hyper Voice against her and sent her into the tree behind her. She picked herself up and smirked, "Looks like I need to teach you a lesson Bitch!"

"Bring it on you, Bitch!" I shouted at her.

That's how our fight started, and we fought each other for a few minutes, I guessed. Time wasn't something I was good at keeping. But after we separated, Master showed up and told us to stop. Lucy told him that lie while I tried to defend myself, but now I'm in my ball. It's a foreign feeling to me, being in my ball. Master or his Mother rarely put me in here, but at least I was in private and cried without anyone seeing me. I felt so lost right now. Everything she said about me was right, and I didn't know what to do.

"Master, don't leave me. I love you." I said to myself as I continued to cry.

What happens next?
