Chapter 84 by Tabbycat Tabbycat

What's next?

Campfire stirring

Dustin grinned at the redheaded woman by his side and leaned in. “If things go the way I’ve planned them tonight kitten? Oh yes. We’ll definitely want to wash up in the morning.” Then, straightening back up and in a louder voice he added “first things first, let’s get this tent set up.” As they worked, Dustin made a point of double checking everything Emely did - giving him an excuse to get close to her and brushing his hand lightly over the sensitive spot at the base of her tails. The result of which was that by the time the tent was fully up the fox girl was breathing heavily and quite flushed. “Sir…” she half-whined, at which Dustin gave a gentle chuckle. “Later. Food, company and so on first. You wanted a camping trip, right kitten?”

Emely took a moment to pause with her eyes closed and get her breathing under control before slowly nodding. “Yes sir. That’s what I wanted.” At that, Dustin wrapped one arm around her shoulder. “Then lets go sit by the fire and have some food” he said, and began steering her gently back towards the others. When they re-joined the larger group, the Rabyth were gathered around steaming pots of some kind of largely vegetable mix. “We’re having to use freeze-dried bachrana meat for protein, which isn’t ideal. But we’ve no time to hunt and the local wildlife while edible is also a little on the leaner side. Come back in a couple of years and we’ll have free-range farmed local produce to try, but for now it’s just whatever stuff from the supplies has the shortest date on it.” Leaze explained, refusing any offer by Dustin to add to their food. “We always over prepare; we’ve got enough spare food to last us five years just in case a supply ship gets delayed. Nearly starve your species into extinction a couple of times and you naturally stock up like that.” Had been the old man’s only comment on the matter.

During the meal, Rye sat with her aunt, uncle and cousin, while Dustin and Emely sat on the far side of the fire alone. That meant that he could indulge himself a little more than he’d originally planned; with the little extra privacy their slight isolation gave he made a point of running his hand down her back and occasionally teasing her tails some more. Every time his fingers drifted lower the Feliax’s spoon wobbled slightly on it’s way from her bowl to mouth and on those times he actually touched her there her breath would hitch slightly. Keeping it at a low level of teasing, Dustin smiled to himself as he saw her face blush slightly after a particularly long caress before glancing across the fire. On the far side, he spotted Rye leaning into her cousin and whispering something in the other bunny girl’s ear. Jammieth started and glanced over at him, and he guessed his engineer had probably hinted at what he was doing with the fox girl to her relative.

Waiting until he was sure the two Rabyth were watching, Dustin let his hand drift until his fingertips were only fractionally away from teasing Emely once more and leaned into her. “You know Rye and her cousin are watching, kitten. What would they think if you weren’t able to keep yourself under control?” Then grazed her tails with his hand, earning a whimper from the fox girl as she curled into him. “Sir…” she whined, one tail curling around his waist. “They’re Rabyth you know, everyone here. They don’t care that you’re not the one in charge.” Emely’s whine grew slightly in volume and one hand gripped his thigh as he continued his teasing of her rear. “But I’d like you to try and maintain your composure kitten. We’re guests here after all, and it wouldn’t do to act like you’d gone into heat the way they do just because I’m holding you by your tails.” Dustin found the words surprisingly easy; after Emely had decided on the camping trip, he’d spent some time brushing up on dominance from the on board library, and was having quite a lot of fun teasing the woman in his arms.

Emely’s tails twitched in his grasp and she straightened up slightly and appeared to regain her composure, although sitting as close to her as he was he could hear her breathing getting heavy and see the flush in her cheeks that would be hidden from the others by the firelight. The redhead turned and smiled at him, her lip only slightly trembling as he played with her senses. “As you command, patriarch. I will not bring our pride into disrepute, sir.” There was a certain note to her voice that made Dustin raise an eyebrow. Not a challenge exactly - but the option to take it as a challenge if he wished. Moving his hand from her tails, he nodded to her and stood up. “I’m going to go say goodnight to Rye. Then you will, and then come and join me in our tent.” The night had closed in surprisingly quickly - while it had just been dusk when they started eating, the sky overhead was now lit with stars as he crossed around the fire and hunched down by Rye.

“Having fun Dusty?” she said sarcastically, adding “who am I kidding, you care more about if she’s having fun right? You two could have just slipped off without saying goodnight you know, I wouldn’t have minded.” He nodded. “We could. But then if we did that I wouldn’t be able to make her wait while you get this.” And with that he stroked the side of Rye’s face before pulling her in for a rather exuberant kiss. He was vaguely aware of the stare that Jammieth was fixing on him as he did so, but held on for a moment longer before backing off. Rye blinked slightly before shaking her head. “Ok, yea, that was worth you coming over for. Have fun tonight.” Dustin smiled. “I will - oh, and do me a favour would you?” Then, he leaned in and whispered in her ear. “When Emely comes to say goodnight, tease her a bit. You know what she likes, and I want her to struggle between staying for the teasing and leaving to meet me.”

Rye flashed him a wicked grin at that point. “Orders received captain. I’ll make sure everything goes according to plan before I retire for the night.” Having gotten what he wanted, Dustin re-crossed the clearing and nodded to Emely. “Your turn, kitten.” He said, before walking past her towards the tent without looking back. Once inside, he glanced at the sleeping mats and shook his head. Kicking Emely’s bedding to the side, he opened up his sleeping bag. They’d been designed for people much larger than either of them to be on the safe side, and would offer enough room for both him and her. “That’ll do for bedding later. For now…” he mused to himself, then adjusted the mat he’d kicked out of the way so that it was smooth once more. Once he was satisfied, he rolled up the spare bedding to make a backrest and settled to watch the tent flap for the arrival of his lover.

It took slightly longer than he’d expected before a very flushed Emely opened the flap. Stepping in, she paused to put something down before turning to seal the entrance. As she closed the flap, Dustin gestured between his legs. “Sit, and tell me why you took so long kitten.” The fox girl jumped slightly at his words then nodded before sinking onto her knees in front of him. “When you left, I went to say goodnight to Rye as you had instructed. She told me she needed my help getting something from the shuttle and ordered me - well, she didn’t explicitly make it an order in front of her cousin, but she’s our second, I could tell. Anyhow, we went there, and she kept playing with my tails on the walk like you did sir.” The redhead’s voice was bubbly, but frustrated; while she’d clearly enjoyed the attention from her pridemate, when combined with Dustin’s earlier teasing it was starting to get too much.

“That isn’t all, is it kitten?” Dustin said, raising an eyebrow. “No sir.” Emely smiled then, before continuing “When we got in the shuttle, she grabbed me by my wrists and pinned me to one of the walls for a kiss. I sort of lost track of time at that point, but when she’d finished she handed me - that” and here the fox girl gestured over her shoulder at whatever it was she’d brought “and said I needed to bring that to you as you might find it useful. Then she ordered me to walk her back to her cousin. Holding it.” Dustin looked past the fox girl and understood the reason for her blush. Propped up against the wall of the tent was something Rye had hinted she would make some time ago - a long bar with a set of cuffs on either end. “So you carried that back through the camp after I told you to make sure you didn’t bring us into disrepute?” he queried the blushing woman.

“Yes sir. I held it against me so that it wasn’t obvious what it was; the cuffs blended into my top in the light and by the time we got back the others were starting to head to bed anyhow. Jammieth wished us both goodnight, and she was the closest. I don’t think she realised what I was carrying.” Dustin sighed. “She’s Rye’s cousin and by all accounts highly sexed. I suspect she knows exactly what you were carrying kitten. But you did at least try to do as I ordered, good girl. I’ll have words with our second tomorrow about the level of teasing she subjected you to - it was a little more than I had planned.” Emely meanwhile was beaming; it seemed that being called a good girl was something she hadn’t fully realised how much she’d enjoy.
