Camp Half-Blood Inspection

As they crested the hill, the full view of Camp Half-Blood finally unfolded before Lucas’s eyes.

12 Cabins, a Greek styled pavilion, and a couple of activity areas made it look very convincing as a Camp where Greek Myths were real.

But what caught Lucas’s attention wasn't the scenery.

His eyes were immediately drawn to the biggest house within the camp ground.

"That's the Big House? Where the directors and visitors stay?"

"Yes."

"...do you guys just call it that because it is a big houae?"

"Maybe? No one really knows."

Lucas shrugged.

Supposedly, even a god and a legendary teacher of greek heroes didn't have the sharpest minds when it came to naming stuff.

As Lucas and Annabeth were heading to the Big House, someone approached them.

"Hey, Annabeth...who's that?"

"Oh. Hi, Malcom."

Annabeth pressed her lips near Lucas’s ear and whispered.

"Malcom is my half sibling—you know, we share the same godly parent?"

"Hmm."

Lucas quickly scanned Malcom.

He could confidently say that him and Annabeth had nothing in common when it came to their looks.

Meanwhole, Malcom seemed even more weirded out by what Annabeth just did.

"Hey, who's the new guy? Is he a new demigod? And...why are you two, uhm..."

Malcom frowned.

As a son of Athena, he didn't like it when he left his sentences unfinished.

But also, it wasn't easy to come up with a word that practically meant "Boyfriend" without using the exact phrase.

Finally, Malcom managed to come up with a compromise.

"...what about Percy?"

"Percy...?"

For a moment, Annabeth's expression went stiff.

Another stirr of emotion bubbled from deep inside her as she was reminded that a certain Seaweed brain existed.

But as soon as that emotion came up, it was easily stifled out by the newly found affection for her real boyfriend.

The one she truly loved and cared for.

With a soft smile, Annabeth leaned her head onto Lucas’s shoulder.

"This is Lucas Hayes. He is a mortal, and one of my colleagues back at school.

And well, he is also my boyfriend."

"Ah."

Malcom nodded as if everything suddenly made sense to him.

Lucas noticed that Malcom's confusion vanished as soon as he had heard his name, Lucas Hayes.

'That is probably because it is currently normal for me to be Annabeth's boyfriend.'

It was a good showcase that the Normality earrings worked even throughout this magical camp.

"Well, welcome to the camp then, I suppose."

"Yeah, thanks."

After Malcom left, Lucas turned and grabbed Annabeth's shirt.

He lifted the hem straight up, letting Annabeth's grey sports bra spring free.

"...!?"

Annabeth flinched and her cheeks turned slightly red, but she didn't say anything.

From her view, nothing out of the ordinary happened in general.

"Who is this Percy fella?"

Lucas asked in a cold voicd.

"If you don't tell the truth...then I'll punish you."
