Only a moment later, you do the same, but for Demon King William Cresswell, another man from Earth. He's certainly been the most mysterious person you know in Abso, yet as another enemy of Elok, he's a valuable ally despite your difficulty in trusting him. You don't have to sit for nearly as long as with Lady Vex. It's impressively swift. Not only that, but it's William himself who appears on the other side.

He looks as he always does--black hair to his neck, yet with a braid down the right side of his head decorated with blue beads, which then match the stare behind his glasses. His white coat isn't present, though he has the same black shirt he wears beneath. No longer does he care to keep his hand stowed away in his pocket when speaking with you. Instead, his fingers are crossed over a desk, while the mirror is propped up straight to face him. You've worn gold and silver rings, and even one of magic, but what adorns William's finger is quite stunning. It almost looks like a strange mix of both gold and silver, and while the gems encrusted around the band are tiny, there are too many to count. Though in addition to that, a couple other rings decorate his fingers as well.

"It's good to hear from you, Kyle Warren," she says rather quickly after the call connects. "Is it something important?"

"Yes and no. I just want to make sure we're still on the same team, especially with the inevitable confrontation with Elok. He's out there somewhere, probably getting even stronger. I need to know I have allies I can trust."

"Whether or not we can trust each other is not something proven by words, but you do have my support against Elok Daven. I may be a Demon King in my own right, though I assure you I'm not on the same side as him. I'm on the side of me and my people, and keeping us safe. I'm sure you can understand."

"I can."

"At the very least, we're both from Earth. That has to mean something. In this strange world, there are very few who would know the taste of McDonald's, or even the existence of famous icons like Mario or Mickey Mouse. We hold bizarre knowledge beyond most people's comprehension, Kyle Warren. That's why we're both the best individuals to take on Elok Daven, who seems to have mysterious, powerful knowledge himself."

"I want to know more about where he may be living, or at least, places he's stayed. The massive underground tunnel is a deathtrap, but we know the direction it goes. We think it could intersect with the old lair of Demon King Muian, which could also explain why he has so many ant-girls down there. He had to have found some kind of place that wasn't destroyed when the Demon King was slain."

"An astute assumption." He sits back slightly before reaching up to readjust his glasses. "I have a proposition then. Why don't we go together? Bring a couple of your party members and I'll do the same. We're merge our adventuring parties and do a proper raid. How about that?"

"Wow. That sounds good to me. But we gotta be careful. If that ends up being his actual lair, we shouldn't delve too deep with only a small number of people. Elok not only has countless constructs of his own creation, but his ALICE robots too, and that isn't to mention how many insectrin he might have."

"I assure you I'm not careless, nor have I stopped growing stronger. We both faced the problem of our class ending at 10th level, but we both have our own solutions. We'll be fine. Allow me to speak with the others, and we'll set a time and place to meet."

"Right then... So I gotta ask. You were at the Sports Festival too. What do you think of Elok Daven truly, after hearing everything he said? He spoke of the power of Earth. That he transferred himself into the body of an elf. He spoke of editing his values like cheating in an RPG. His new form... It's definitely like he's merged his temporary elven body with his original human form. He has the hybrid creation he's wanted, with his own class and everything. Not only does this guy have the knowledge of how to get to Earth, at least briefly enough to steal people for experimentation, but he is from Earth, and he wants to go back. That means both places we may call home are in danger."

William lets out a long, contemplative sigh. "Indeed. It sounds as if he came over and realized the weakness of Earthlings, yet in the process discovered their greatest strength. It was Breiah who certainly did much of the work. She's who I fear the most. She's the unknown. Yet now he's become what could be called the perfect version of us."

"To hell with that. Yeah, he's basically a nerd who got a GameShark for real life to become the isekai protagonist of his dreams, but the guy is so full of himself that he can't even admit he only did some of the work. People with that much hubris always slip up somewhere."

"Perhaps. In a sense, all three of us were blank slates who were halfway filled by someone else, while the rest was complete in our own ways, forged by our own paths."

"If there is a god of adventurers behind this system of class powers, they've gotta be pretty sick and tired of us."

"We'll make certain there's soon one fewer."

"All right, William. We'll stay in touch. Let me know when, and we'll kick down the door of a dead Demon King's home."

He nods. Then, the mirror's call switches off.
