Caitlin, the mayor herself

Mayor Caitlin Allbridge sat at her desk. Instead of a normal office chair the leader of the odd small town sat in what looked like an oversized baby’s activity tray crossed with a desk, her bare legs threaded through a pair of leg holes in a rotating bouncy seat. She wore a pink romper that matched the ribbons in her hair. She also wore a nice jacket with some of her favorite pins in it.

At the moment she was going through different forms on her desk as she sucked on her pacifier. So far her morning had been par for the coast. A few calls here, a few complaints and whining there and some boring paperwork periodically broken up by diaper changes. Honestly she was kind of bored.

She couldn’t think of anything new to do herself and when she checked her underwear it felt just a little bit squishy and warm but not quite enough to warrant a diaper change. So she reached over to her intercom button “Mawwy, wath ah mah skedoow taday?”

“Ma’am, you know I can’t understand you with your binky in” came the voice of her secretary Mary from the other side of the intercom.

“Ptoo, Sorry dear, I was wondering if I had anything on my schedule for today. I’m running out of things to do”

“Well it’s funny you should mention that”
