Cabin Party

Chapter 62 by youngstar5678

Comfort Cabin was beautiful. The cabin sat on top of a green hill with multiple fields of wildflowers around. It was small on the outside, but no one was convinced that it was anything but impressive on the inside. Also on the hill was a crystal clear pond, a large oak tree with a tire swing, a fire pit, multiple chairs and yard games scattered around.

If you're wondering how that much stuff can fit on the top of a hill, don’t. It’s a magic location in a magic reality bending reality show, just go with it.

Fiora was practically vibrating with excitement.

“Daddy, this place looks perfect!” The moment the horses stopped, she jumped out of the buggy and ran around.

“It looks perfect to her because it’s adjusted to her imagination,” said Aika. Everyone else filed out of the buggy as Fiora was running her hand on the tree.

“This reminds me of the tree that was at my grandparents house when I was little. It’s too bad that I got sick before I could make many memories there.” She turned to David and beamed at him.

“Daddy, this is going to be the best day ever!”

“Oh my god, she is adorable,” mumbled Jennifer.

“I could just eat her up,” mumbled Nyx. David walked over to her and held out his hand.

“How about a game of cornhole. Do you know how to play?” She grabbed his arm and wrapped herself around it.

“No, but I’d love it if you would show me!” David chuckled and walked her over to where cornhole was set up to do just that.

“Well Sora, how about a game?” Rachel asked the mute maid, who quickly pulled a notepad out of a pocket on her dress and wrote something on it and showed Rachel. As Rachel read it, her lips curled into a smirk.

“I’m all in, but we should check with Fiora first. It is her night with him.” Sora nodded and the two ran over to the daddy daughter duo.

“I wonder what else there is to do?” questioned Hailey, who was walking close to the edge of the hill. She then tripped over something, and went tumbling down the hill.

“HAILEY!” exclaimed Stella. She was about to run after her when Alear put her hand on her shoulder.

“Don’t worry, you can’t get hurt like that while you’re here. Slapstick never hurts anyone on Harem Hotel.” They heard the sound of laughing by the edge of the hill. Akita then rolled her eyes and walked over before swiftly swiping Angel’s hat off of her head. Angel’s eyes widened, but she didn’t have time to react before Akita sent her tumbling down the hill as well.

…

While everyone else was having fun and goofing off, Jennifer and Morgan were sitting on a dock over the pond, each with a fishing pole in their hand.

“So, how did your date go?” asked Jennifer. Morgan sighed and looked behind them where David and Fiora were chasing each other with water guns.

No, they weren't magical water guns.

“Both not well and very well. I feel like David and I came to an important understanding that we needed to reach in order to progress with our relationship. But, getting there required me to make several mistakes. We’re not fighting or anything, but there’s definitely some tension now between us. With time, it’ll get better, but things aren’t great right now.”

“Let me guess, you tried to push the idea that having a rich girlfriend has a lot of benefits.” Morgan’s silence was all the answer that Jennifer needed.

“Yeah, that wasn’t your best idea. I’m guessing Rachel tried to warn against that.” Once again, the silence spoke volumes.

“Speaking of Rachel, how did things go with her?” Jennifer looked at Rachel, who was playing a very intense game of giant chess against Hailey.

“It went really well, but I’m still scared to make the final move. We’ve been besties for so long, and she’s one of the most important people in my life. I’m afraid that I might lose her.” Morgan rested a gentle hand on her shoulder.

“I may not have known you for nearly as long, but I’m very confident that you’re not going to lose her. No matter what happens, you will always have her, in one way or another.” Jennifer smiled and looked back at the pond.

“You’re right.”

That’s when both of them got shot in the back by a water gun. They turned around and saw Fiora laughing her butt off, which gave them the perfect opportunity to pounce on her and start tickling her.

…

Angel loves being around everyone, and has had plenty of chances to play small pranks on people, but right now, she needs to recharge her social batteries. So, with the help of her new favorite hat, she slipped away and climbed on top of the roof.

From her spot, she could see everything. All it took was a simple request, and Fiora could think up just about anything. Olivia and Stella were having another archery competition. Aika was teaching Fiora how to throw a boomerang. David was fulfilling his duty as the only male and was grilling with Sora and Rachel “helping”. Jennifer, Morgan, Hailey, Alear and Nyx were chilling in a hot tube. The only one not accounted for was Akita.

“You here, I know. I smell you.” Angel jumped, almost falling off the roof. Once her heart went back to normal she removed her hat as Akita sat next to her.

“Sorry, I didn’t hear you coming.” Akita smirked, a small fang showing.

“Wolf benefit. Very sneaky.” Angel leaned back slightly and took a deep breath through the nose.

“It smells very nice up here. Very clean.” Akita closed her eyes and took a breath too.

“Agreed. Very relaxing.” Angel nervously rubbed the back of her neck.

“Um, can I ask something that might be a little insensitive?” Akita raised an eyebrow.

“Yes.”

“Does the way you speak bother you? I know it would bother me.” Akita shrugged, clearly not offended by the question.

“Used to, now used to it. Been like this for long time.” Now it was Angel’s turn to raise an eyebrow.

“How long?” Akita seemed to think about this question for a bit, and even looked confused for a moment.

“Know not. Telling is hard. Multiverse is weird.” Angel chuckled softly at that.

The two of them slipped into a comfortable silence, simply watching the people below them. Angel was unsure of what to classify them. Friends? Harem Sisters? Fellow kidnap victims? Or maybe, family.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she was hit by a small ball from above, and her clothes transformed.

Before her brain could even catch up to what was happening, a rope wrapped around her waist before someone pushed her off the roof. She didn’t hit the ground, but was instead dangling from the top. Everyone looked at her in shock and confusion.

As Angel shrieked in embarrassment and confusion, Emeralda was laughing her butt off.

“I told you payback was coming!”

…

Everyone was sitting around the campfire, which wasn’t burning yet, and eating their burgers or hot dogs that were made for them by their Master.

“Thanks for this everyone. It means a lot to me,” said Fiora.

“Of course Princess. We’re all in this together after all,” said Stella.

“And it’s nice to have the staff here too, isn’t it Sora,” said David. Sora couldn’t help but blush.

“Yes, it is. Fiora, thanks for inviting us to your party.” Fiora beamed at the maid.

“Of course! You guys are with us too.” Once she finished her burger, Fiora stood up with a stretch.

“I’m going to try climbing the tree.” She ran over to the tree, but never made it there. Instead, she collapsed halfway there.

“FIORA!”
