Byron's Fantastic Footwear

It's been a hectic week at school for both Mia and myself. While I was able to impress my Illusion instructor, Proctor MacAvee my other instructors not so much. But never mind that now. Right now I'm standing outside Byron's shop and he has a new sign outside. Byron's Fantastic Footwear. Right below the name there's an engraving of a shoe.

It's about time he named the place and got himself a proper sign.

The second I walk in I'm greeted by an enthusiastic Byron. "Well what do ya think of the name and sign?"

" I like them both. It's about time you gave the shop a name and put up a sign. Customers will be able to find you easier."

"Yes life has been more --- profitable since. In fact I've sold more cleaning kits to your fellow mage apprentices than I can make. My supply can't keep up with the demand. I have one question though. Is there some type of an issue with dog shit at the akadamy? It seems every time a new customer from your school comes in I smell the rather distinct aroma of doggie doo."

I laugh." Yes the Archmage has a dog named Ralphie that shits all over the place and he never picks it up. Compound that with the fact that there are very few walkways between buildings and we mostly have to walk in the grass to get to our classes. I'm afraid to say we've all fallen victim to Ralphie's little booby traps. That's what brought me to your shop the first time. I stepped in pile of his shit."

" Doesn't anyone say anything to the Archmage about it?"

"No. He's the Archmage. Nobody including myself has the nerve to walk up to him and say clean up after your mangy mutt dude, we're tired of stepping in his shit."

"Well you can put it more politely than that I'm sure. You shouldn't refer to him as dude and you don't have to insult his dog."

"I know. Especially from what I hear around campus he's actually a rather pleasant dog, very friendly." I continue. "Anyway that's not why I'm here. I came to give you my and Mia's review of the sandals you gave us to field test-----"
