Sara Wilson sighed as she cleaned her glasses. Today was one hell of a day she thought. First Sadie Prescott decided to undress in the cafeteria, then she got a weird feeling in English class, then the loner Steven suddenly asked her out. Not to lie, she thought he was cute, but that feeling from earlier had thrown her off, and she declined his advances. Was that a mistake, she thought to herself. Either way, there would be other opportunities.

Sara was currently looking over the textbook for her AP class, as the teacher there did not believe in the lighthearted fun the rest of the school was participating in before winter break. She was currently home alone, her parents having left on a cruise while she was at school; they had left a note saying they were going on a 2nd honeymoon, and that’s why they weren’t bringing her, and that she was 18 and could care for herself.

“Gee, thanks Mom and Dad. Christmas by myself.” A lone tear rolled down her nose and was about to fall onto the book when it suddenly stoped mid air. Sara did not move, she like the rest of time was currently frozen. The door to her bedroom creaked as three individuals who could move stepped inside.
