This Wees is odd.
But in this forest that's not saying much.
Calen managed to catch her breath a bit quicker than Shugre, looking at her new friend that had just led her to her home.
"Thank you, Shugre. I don't know what I would have done without you," Calen said as she leaned in to hug the Wees with her free arm.
"We should probably get inside before anything else shows up. Is there any way I can help you with anything? I want to repay you somehow, but I don't have much with me," Calen whispered into Shugre's ear, the building sense of heat distracting her slightly.
