But Of Course

After your confirmation that you would indeed like to see Viki's room, you follow her down one of the halls to a door that is as nondescript as the other room doors around it. Stepping inside you see a dorm room that, structurally speaking, is not too different from your own. The key differences being the House color scheme and the fact that it somehow looks a lot more... lived in already than yours.

Both beds are a bit of a mess, with the one closer to the door having several thick looking books strewn about and a few open notebooks with what you presume to be sketches of magic symbols and runes. Notes written around those sketches seem to be English but are talking about concepts you currently have no frame of reference for, so they may as well be in Njerep. The bed closer to the back has a bunch of rumpled up clothes on top of the equally rumpled up sheets, some of them looking like they would fit that Amelia girl and others that most certainly do not.

You are pretty sure you can see at least one pair of men's underwear in the mess and a bra that would be FAR too big for her... though perhaps just the right size for Viki. If she notices said large enough bra, Viki makes no attempt to acknowledge it and given your own actions in the shower just before this get together, questioning her about her relationship with her roommate seems more than a little unfair.

The black-and-purple haired girl plops down into a chair near her bed and you awkwardly stand where you are for a few seconds before she realizes the problem and reaches way over to pat a clear part of the edge of her bed. You sit down where indicated and then the two of you silently stare at each other, looking for a topic to start.

This... this is really hard. How do you even start a conversation like this? You were hoping, despite her obvious nerves, Viki might have at least a little more experience at getting the ball rolling but that ball is currently stuck in a very thick layer of awkward ice. Looking down at the bed, you see one of those open notebooks and hey, maybe something in there might be useful!

Indicating a sketch of what looks like some kind of pendant, you ask, "So... you make magic jewelry?"

Viki blinks at you and her lips quirk a little as she suppresses a snicker. "N-Not quite. It's a Necklace of Magic Holding I'm studying. It's related to the Magic Transference and Enhancement Circle on the next page. You use the circle to enhance your magic to cast a spell you wouldn't normally have the magic potential for, and THEN the necklace stores it and holds it until you need it. You have to be careful though, as if you don't build the necklace right it'll leak out the magic energy and if you DO build it right then you have to be careful not to use TOO powerful a spell or it'll explo--"

She suddenly stops. Up until that moment she had been the most animated you had seen her yet, but now she blushes and looks away from you. It is like she is embarrassed about having gotten enthusiastic about an academic subject in front of you. That is... really cute and it causes you to giggle and smile as you say, "Sounds like you find the subject pretty interesting. I'm not sure if any of my classes are going to cover this stuff yet but, if I do, maybe I have a study buddy?"

She looks back at you, another look of surprise on her face. "You're... interested?"

"Sure! I've never seen this kind of stuff before outside of movies, so if you can show me what the real thing is like, that'd be awesome!"

Viki's excited look comes back to her face. "I... but Amelia's the only one who's ev--"

She shakes her head, deciding not to go down that road right now as she stands up and bolts for a desk, opening a drawer and pulling out three objects. Heading back to you she shows that in her left hand are a pair of silver bracelets with blue jewels and in her right hand is a golden necklace. The busty goth excitedly holds them out to you as she asks a question.
