Burtonverse Selina Kyle

Portrayed by Michelle Pfeiffer; Selina Kyle had been the secretary to the power hungry business man, Max Shreck. After finding out about something she wasn't supposed to know, Max Shreck decided to kill her with his own hands after deciding that Selina was too much of a threat to be left alive. Selina was killed after being pushed out of a window, but was soon resuscitated by a group of cats. The experience seemed to have driven the kind, timid secretary insane, for, after having a mental breakdown in her apartment, she'd take on the identity of the vengeful thief known as Catwoman.

This version of Selina is a bit more mentally unstable in comparison to the others and may in fact literally have nine lives, but it seems today that her home-made costume will be meeting its end today.
