Burial (2)- Dao of Hope

Kalfa watched on in dismay as the man she loved the most was hit with a terrible and unseen shockwave.

The unseen **** had blown away Orions reinforced armor, along with the tyrannical aura soaring wildly only moments ago.

Orions once proud and metallic suit of armor had been reduced to fluttering pieces of dark clothes. His robust torso was on show covered in countless scars both old and new. But what caught Kalfa off guard and rendered her almost trembling with anguish was the vacant dull gaze settled within Orions eyes. His tall body roughly crashed down onto his knees. And there Orion remained.

"Nooooo!" Kalfa moved before she had time to even process her actions. By the time she reached Orion. Her hands were shaking in fear as she could feel his entire body had become as rigid as stone.

Orion wasn't dead, as far as she could tell, but there was no signs of life currently within his eyes. Gazing into the dark iris devoid of any light, Kalfa understood they were as hollow as an empty shell.

"Wh-why...wh-wh-what...did you do?" a stream of tears begun to roll down her cheeks. Her tough exterior broken and Kalfa was blubbering without restraint.

"Hey! Over here..." a bright voice spoke out

"h-hu" Kalfa moved her teary gaze up and beheld a red haired girl with a childlike smile and small fangs poking out from her mouth. She was gazing towards her with an innocent smirk.

"Hey furry eared big sister! Why don't we become friends ey? Hear me out-look we even have the same hair style...so lets talk this through and let Senior brother and sister deal with those smelly Elves ok."

"Y-yoi....graaaaah!" An aura burst forth as Kalfa leapt with the swiftness of a leopard. Two racing lions appeared charging alongside her with an aura threatening to devour the entire world.

"Oh-my-" Edna was caught by surprise, but just when Kalfa was poised to reach her. She instantly vanished a few meters behind. Kalfa didn't relent on her pursuit and roared mightily as she threw wild fists filled with a devastating aura. Edna avoided each blow with an inhumane allusiveness. All the while a smile remained on her face whilst she danced around the soil.

"Edna! " a soothing voice from the rear spoke out.

"End this...quickly."

"Gotcha Senior brother. Sorry furry ears big sis...Edna has to go serious now. " Kalfa swung a raging left hook, Edna ducked and twisted her body in the same motion. Just before completing her turn she kicked out precisely towards Kalfa's open stomach. What seemed like a normal kick was ignored by Kalfa, she was currently empowered by her 'Gear' and so in truth had nothing to truly fear. But once the kick landed on her ribs, Kalfa felt as though a mountain had been smashed against her.

The next thing she recalled was her body being sent flying towards violently across the open clearing and crashing through the hurdle of gathered trees.

"For goodness sake Edna we need her alive!" Chusi barked as she delicately landed beside her companion. She gave her a firm knock against her head.

"oops"

Meanwhile, the two Elves having witnessed the entire ordeal were left breathless.

Aubrey and Elisa felt their blood boiling, but their eyes foretold that even they understood things were not going to be easy.

"Together brother" said Elisa before their Qi's rolled through their bodies. They finally made their move, leaving after images in their wake whilst they beelined towards the duo.

Chusi swiftly moved her nonchalant gaze towards the incoming power. A brilliant golden light flashed across her eyes whilst glowing golden scales started to appear across her unblemished tall neck.

In a flash she intercepted the Elven duo and smashed her fist forwards.

A loud bang sounded as though the air had been torn apart.

*BOOOOM!*

Between the Elves who were suddenly rocked back by that devastating blow. Aubrey came out worst for it. He rolled across the ground before slamming painfully against a nearby boulder.

"BROTHER!" Elisa screamed but just as she breathed, she felt a terrible feeling of **** creeping from behind. Without a second look back her two fingers jointed togetherand a blueish light appeared, transforming her entire right hand into a translucent blade.

She spun around desperately and struck the incoming attack. Chusi was bearing down upon her with a terrifying bestial claw . Elisa was shocked once she realized her QI blade was broken with ease. And unable to get away fast enough the iron like nails clawed at her chest, leaving deep wound which drew a fountain of blood.

She clutched at her wounds and felt her backside land against the ground.

"Edna!" Chusi spoke

A silhouette rose above Chusi from behind, the red haired girl somersaulted over her companion with her legs carrying the momentum.

"Hyup-Hyup one Elf down" Edna said before her two feet landed right on top of the helpless Elisa. The ground beneath them quaked as multiple cracks appeared upon her heavy impact.

Elisa's mouth opened wide, her body was hit with such a devastating **** that a painful whimper was all she could muster before her eyes rolled back.

"ELISA N-NOOOO!" Aubrey slammed his palms together and conjured a brilliantly glowing white chain, he struck his palm forwards and the chain obeyed shooting towards Edna like a viper, before it wrapped around her waist and hoisted her up into the her.

"Uh oh-he's caught me senior sister."

Chusi was poised to act when she saw a second link from the chain shooting towards her. She changed her stance and met the chain head on from a side motion, She folder her arms and delivered a single high kick which sliced the chain into pieces. Aubrey's eyes were glaring wide as he suddenly realized what he was up against.

"Hey Elfie dont forget about Edna"

Aubrey tossed his frantic gaze towards the skies and saw the red haired girl half between eating the chains and using her feet to pry herself free. Edna managed to loosen the binds in a few moments, when suddenly a pair of reddishly brown scaly wings appeared against her back. She flapped her wings and soared around the air, then she held out a single one of her arms, which morphed into a large reddish scaly claw. She dove straight for him. And in the same breath Chusi had also appeared from a different angle. "SHIT" Aubrey performed a cross guard but all was futile. The duo slammed their beastly claws into him, he felt a chaos invading his QI center before he felt a weightless throughout his entire body.

In the end **** appeared in a blink of an eye.

Elisa was still barely awake. Her hazy eyes saw her brothers lifeless body crumble to the ground. She could only softly crawl towards him. Slowly she dragged her body, leaving a trail of blood behind. Her fingernails cracked and bloodied whilst she clawed and **** herself across the ground until she could feel her brothers corpse. He was still warm, which brought a stream of tears flowing down. Elisa placed her entire body over him, then closed her two eyes and allowed the darkness to take over.

"Orion...Orion please wake up..."

"huh!" Both Chusi and Edna turned around to find the beast girl nursing deep wounds whilst she feebly shook the unresponsive brute.

"Auh-furry eared sis is still alive-you see Edna held back...let me go talk to her"

Edna felt her arm stiffly being held back. Chusi never said anything instead her gaze fell upon the silver haired fellow.

Ryuu held out his hand towards Edna and swiftly closed his open palm. The air looked to have distorted as an invisible crashing sound erupted and sent Kalfa smashing against the ground with a tremendous ****.

A few moments later Orion finally awoken again...he scanned around the area and saw despair littered all around him. Before he could even attempt to call forth the power of the Gods. He saw a golden staff appearing beside him, wielded by a boy with scarlet ruby eyes and an expressionless gaze
