Budget Time

Tilly slumped down into her chair. She was finally done the checklist. It had taken her 6 hours, and then she spent another hour going over things she thought of that weren't on the list but would help make the apartment shine. Her phone buzzed.

Daily Quest #3 Complete - No reward given since correction was required.

What? But I even did more than just the checklist, she thought. I went above and beyond. Her phone buzzed again, the app gave it's reply.

The checklist was guidance only. You were expected to go beyond. You met but did not exceed expectations.

She sighed. Fuck this is a harsh taskmaster. It was getting late in the day, but she still couldn't eat, watch tv, or even masturbate. She might as well do her other quest. She sat down at her computer and did a quick search for a budget template. Then she logged into her bank account to get details on her spending. Wait...what happened to her money? She'd had the $500 from Celestial Delights, but it was all gone. It looked like the app had used her own money to buy the gag, the costume she was wearing, all the make-up, the gym membership, even the cleaning supplies. Her current balance was $0.08. She was doomed.

She tried to shake off that realization and focus on the task at hand. With the money from the app she would be able to afford rent or food....maybe not both. She didn't want to, but it was clear she had to cut back, at least until she found a job. It seemed the app wasn't going to let her anyway, so she went ahead and cancelled all her streaming services and her tv package. She kept the internet, that was too essential, but she downgraded her package.

After a few hours she landed on a plan to survive on $500/week, but it wouldn't be comfortable. The sooner she got a job, the better. She saved the file and closed it and heard the buzz from her phone. She check the notification.

Daily Quest #2 Complete - Budget meets expectations. User made good decision to cancel unnecessary services. Reward - You will be permitted to sleep in until 7am tomorrow.

Tilly stared at the phone, really? That's all. Well...better than nothing she supposed.

It was close to her bedtime now so she got ready for bed, but she realized she didn't have anything to wear. She wasn't interested in sleeping in the maid uniform so she took it off and got under the covers naked. She was a little cold at first but soon got used to it and fell asleep.
