Bruised pride

It had taken him an hour to find hisoka. However when he saw his target he grew afraid.

Gon felt bloodlust flooding the area. It was all coming from hisoka. The magician looked starved. His eyes hollowed his body hunched up the arms dangling at his side.

Gon would of thought hisoka was starving except for the amount of bloodlust. It filled the air like a thick fog.

Gon felt terrified being this close to him.

'I want to run away.' this thought kept repeating in gons head. He took some deep breaths to try to calm down.

'Its worse than machi's' he commented in his head regaing his thoughts. When machi was "training" him she would release it to get him used to it.

Slowly hisoka started to move. Gon steeled himself and followed him. Hisoka just aimlessly walked around the island for a couple of hours.

Looking towards the way hisoka was going he saw a person about to intersect hisoka's path. Hisoka suddenly stop and looked towards the person.

Hisoka's face contorted into an inhuman open mouth grin. Then dashed foward towards the bird like person.

Hisoka flicked his wrists taking out two playing cards. As he slashed the person with them gon took action.

Flinging the hook from his fising rod he snaged hisoka's badge will he was attacking. Grabbing it from the air gon took off.

While running away gon felt something pierce the back of his neck. Normally this would bounce off except he was using zetsu to hide himself.

Gon suddenly felt his body turn numb. Using some nen he stopped it from getting worse. Turning around he saw geretta walk out from behind a tree.

"I'll admit you have talent catching me last time. But you forgot to check if i had a way to get out. Now i got you..." geretta started to explain not realising the danger he was in

Behind him hisoka suddenly came into view. Hisoka slowly came out of the forest making no sound. Getting a foot away from him hosoka attacked lodging a card into the back of geratta's head.

Geratta fell to the ground dead.

"That was marvolusly done." Hisoka spoke. "stealing my badge that is. By the way do you happen to know where his badge is?"

Before gon could say anything hisoka approached him and took his backpack. He started to rumage through it before stopping and taking out the badge.

"Thank you this is my targets badge." Hisoka explianed dropping the bag at gons feet before walking away.

Seeing this infuriated gon "why arn't you taking your badge back" he yelled at hisoka making him stop.

Hisoka looked over his shoulder smiling at him. "Because you passed."

"I don't want to pass like this." He yelled back. Throwing the badge at him.

Grabbing the badge from the ground hisoka punched gon's face making him fall. Seeing him on the ground hisoka dropped it in front of him.

"When you can punch me like that you can give it back." Hisoka said dissapering into the woods.

Grabing the badge gon struggled to a hollowed out tree as it started to rain.
