To...?

...Bring Texas To The Mayor.

(Originally by Cheese111)

"Now you be on your best behaviour, Texas. We's gonna get ourselves a sweet promotion handin you over to the mayor." Sandy proudly announced whilst reaching down to grab the sheriff. The weasel didn't get a chance to flee the approaching hand as she was still painfully pinned beneath the rat's large foot.

Unbelievable, these two scrawny pukes were treating her like a prize to hand in to the mayor. When she got big again Texas would have to sort this injustice out with a beating like they've never felt before. But getting big seemed like a distant pipe dream in the crushing grip of Sandy. She kept the sheriff out of sight as she and her sister made her way to town hall. The weasel tried everything to escape, even biting down on the rat's finger. But all she earned was a painful squeeze from her captor. Overhead she could hear the two thugs talking to the clerk at town hall.

"Howdy, we'd like to see the mayor. It's related to important business, so make it snappy."

"Have you got an appointment?" The weary cat receptionist asked, politeness quickly fading from her voice.

"Naw, this popped up kinda suddenly, and we think the mayor would be very interested."

The feline clerk was about to tell the pair to hit the road when the door to Vivian's office flew open. A furious mayor stared the two down, ready to knock them dead with an angry glare. Her cool demeanor was barely holding together. She loudly hissed at the pair.

"You two, in my office! NOW!"

Texas could hear the rats gulp as they shuffled into Vivian's office. If the mayor was in a foul mood already it won't bode well for her. She heard the mayor put on her friendliest voice, suggesting the clerk take an extra little break. The cat could always appreciate another excuse not to work and knew all too well what these breaks meant. Vivian needed to discuss something without any unwanted ears listening in. The mayor hung the 'closed'-sign on the town hall door and stomped back into her office.

"Now you two knuckleheads better have a DAMN good reason for showing up here! I don't need anyone talking about us being seen together. I can't have that obnoxious weasel finding any evidence to tie me to your... 'activities'."

Vivian was ready to go on a full tirade, but Sandy interjected. "That's precisely why we're here, Viv. I think you're gonna like this. Lookie here..." She pulled her hand out of her pocket, revealing the shrunken sheriff and depositing her on the mayor's desk. Texas coughed and groaned from the rough treatment, struggling to adjust herself to the sudden light.

"What in the hell?! How is she this small? Is this the real Texas?"

"If the swearin's anythin to go by, there's no mistakin it. This is Texas. As to why she's suddenly so tiny, your guess is as good as mine. But we figger'd you might want to make use of her unfortunate condition."

Vivian's eyes lit up with opportunity, each new idea more devious than the last. This was a golden opportunity to rid herself of that pesky sheriff for good. She might even be tempted to dirty her hands on this. Daintily she reached down towards the shrunken weasel, who quickly tried to bat her hand away. With a cruel smile the lynx grabbed hold of the tiny weasel, squeezing her a little just to hear her squeak. She found herself a little flustered, capable of subduing the sheriff so easily. Normally Texas would beat her handily in a fight. She relied on never being anywhere near the crimes she ordered to make sure the weasel had no legal reason to come after her. But now she could do anything to her. Texas was completely at her mercy. A tinge of her predatory nature ran down her spine like a pleasant shiver. The tiny weasel in her hand looked strangely appetizing. First things first, she needed to deal with the pair of rats that brought her the sheriff.

"Well done, you two. I'll see to it that you're handsomely rewarded once I'm done. For now, leave me. I have some business to attend to with our dear sheriff. If you see my clerk having a smoke outside, tell her to take the day off. I expect this might take some time."

Texas is held tightly by the mayor. She patiently waits for the rats to leave before sitting down at her desk. She gives the helpless sheriff another painful squeeze before dropping her on the large desk. The weasel tried to scrabble onto her feet but a large paw came down on top of her. Vivian relished the ease with which she could control her nemesis. She could make the sheriff do so many humiliating things.

Better Get Started Then!
