Bring Richard into frozen time

"Well, have you tried, I don't know like focusing energy through the ring?"

"Not really. What do you mean by focusing?" Jess asked.

"Like focus the energy from the ring towards me when you freeze time", Richard suggested.

Jess thought about it, she didn't have anything to really lose. At worst, it wouldn't work. At most, she got bring her love on adventures of their choosing.

"I mean, I can give a shot. I've never really thought about it", Jess said. "I'm not sure what will happen, it could hurt."

"Has it hurt you?"

"Not physically, but when I travel back in time, let's just say that I don't want to try that again unless I absolutely need to..."

"Well, if you think it's relatively okay, let's give it a shot. The benefits sure out way the risks if it works"

Agreeing with Richard, Jess decided to give it a shot. Reaching down towards the ring, she touched it sending the energy out into the world. Once all the sounds had stopped and Richard was once again frozen. Her instincts guided her, raising the ring, she closed his eyes and pictured Richard in her mind as he was, sending out a green ray of energy towards her.

Just like how she had pictured in his head, energy shot out of the ring towards Richard. It enveloped him like a shield, slowly expanding from his body until it was just about an inch above his skin. Slowly, like coming awake, Richard started to move.

"Did it work?" Richard asked, looking up at Jess who, he realized, was covered in a green glow.

"I would say it worked perfectly! Welcome to my realm, the realm between time", Jess said, a large smile on her face.

"What do we do now?"
