Bring Niki and Eva.

"As much as I'd like to prepare more for this, I guess we're gonna have to deal with getting the invitation a bit late." You shoot Vex a disapproving glare. "So we're heading out soon, and I need to choose two of you to accompany me to this meeting. It might be pretty scary. I can't imagine it'll be relaxing to stand around with people exclusively as strong or stronger than we are. I assume anyway. So for this, I'm going to take Niki and Eva with me. Sorry if you wanted to come, Amara, but I'll tell you about everything when I get home."

Amara bows her head. "It is fine, Kyle. I do not mind."

"Woah!" Vex laughs. "You have elves calling you by your first name? She doesn't even call you Lord or Master or anything like that. What is this, a harem?"

"It is a long story," Amara mumbles. Her face starts to turn pink.

"Let's get going, Kashura. Open up that portal."

The self-dubbed Sorceress Queen spins around on her heel before stopping dramatically--a hand on her hat. She glares up at you and smiles. "Of course, my lady. I will grant you a taste of my true power! Everybody stand back, unless you want your flesh melted away."

"... You've done this for us before, and that didn't happen," you mutter.

After another pose, she throws her hands to the side and wiggles her fingers. Just like last time, you notice her bracelet glow. She then shouts, "Open Up!" and a wave of heat wafts out over you. A round hole opens in space like a window, and through it you see a place not too different than here. It's mountainous and filled with trees, though the breeze is chillier, and you can see a rocky path leading around the mountainside. "This is but one entrance to the grand city of Khorheim. Don't get lost now!"

Masumi the fox holds out her hand. A leaf appears on her palm, just like the one you briefly saw when she transformed back into this form. She places it atop her mistress' head, and after a short moment, there's another poof of swirling white clouds. When it clears, you can see Vex dressed in an entirely different outfit. She has a black kimono, and there's something now covering her face. It's black as well, but with thick white eyebrows, a moustache and beard, and an incredibly long nose, just like a tengu mask.

Then she places a leaf on her own head. Poof! She doesn't look all that different, though her own kimono is now pure white, and she has a face covering of her own. It's white with pointed canine ears and red markings--a fox mask.

"My outfit stays the same!" Kashura insists.

"It's fine. We won't be around for long," Vex replies. "Come on. If you're too slow and get stuck in the portal when it closes, it isn't my problem."

Are those really disguises? I can still see she's a devil, and the woman still has nine tails... Oh never mind. Hide in plain sight I guess.

Niki and Eva walk up behind you.

"Stay close to me," says Niki with an arm around the bunny. "I'll keep everyone safe."

Eva smiles. "Thank you."

Just like that, you all pass through the portal to another far off place. Yin waves you goodbye as you depart.
