Bri's Third Date Part 3

"HA! Take that! Eat my dust bro!"

"You do realize that I let you pass me, right?"

"Why would you do that. Wait, oh shit."

"Yep. You know what's coming."

"NO, NOT THE BLUE SHELL!"

"To late, I win!"

"NOOOO!"

In case you can't tell, they were playing Mario Kart.

Bri pouted and glared at Mike before beginning to tickle him once more. Mike laughed and tried to push her off of him, but couldn't. Bri might not look it, but she's strong.

After torturing her brother, Bri laid on him.

"Today has been great," she said.

"I agree. I've had a lot of fun," he said, holding her against him. Bri let out an adorable yan, making Mike chuckle.

"Come on, let's get to bed." Once they got there, Bri took her bunny off the nightstand and held it against her chest.

"Is it ok if I cuddle him?" she asked.

"Of course it is." Mike spooned Bri as she held onto her bunny like a lifeline.

...

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Bri shot into a sitting position, clutching her heart. Her bunny nuzzled against her chest as Mike clumsily threw the covers off of himself.

"Bri, what's wrong?" She buried her head into his chest and cried.

She kept crying for a long time, and only stopped because she fell asleep. Mike gently stroked her hair as his mind wandered.

It didn't take a genius to figure out what woke her up, or why she was crying.

He hated it. He hated how traumatized they all were. But he also knows that they are strong enough to push through a make it out alive.

He has to believe that, because the other option is terrifying.
