Breakfast with the Family

In the morning, Lexi's eyes fluttered open as the scent of cooking bacon tickled her nostrils. She rose up and saw Ms. Chaudhari sitting in front of a vanity table, putting on her make up. The beautiful woman looked at the blonde pet through the mirror and greeted her, "Good morning, sleepyhead. I hope the bed was comfortable." Lexi responded with a happy bark. "Go ahead downstairs. Sasha is already down there and I'm sure she'll be happy to see you. I'll be down in a moment."

Lexi happily trotted downstairs and found Sasha in the dining room, eating eggs and bacon. She looked and Lexi with joy, "Hey girl! I hope you slept well in your new bed." She reached a hand down and pet Lexi on the head. "You want some bacon, girl?" Sasha took a strip of bacon from her plate and held it out. Lexi eagerly ate the bacon from Sasha's hand. "Don't let Mom find out.' She giggled as Lexi's tongue tickled her hand, licking the bacon grease from her fingers.

The chef entered the dining room and set a plate of scrambled eggs, toast, and potatoes down on Lexi's place mat alongside a small bowl of milk, that laid on the floor, "Breakfast is served." He said with a smile to the blonde pet. Lexi went over to the plate of deliciously smelling food and buried her face in its contents. She lapped up some of the milk from the bowl and noted that it seemed somewhat sweeter than she was used to and determined that it was probably some fancy sweetened milk that rich people buy.

Eventually, Ms. Chaudhari entered the dining room and sat down at the table across from Sasha, "Is your brother home yet?" She asked her daughter.

Sasha shook her head as she finished chewing her food and swallowed, "I haven't seen him, but maybe he came in while I was still sleeping." She took another bit of her food.

"Well, if you see him, tell him I need his help with something downstairs." The chef entered the dining room and set a plate of hot food down in front of Ms. Chaudhari. The beautiful woman nodded at him and he left back to the kitchen. She then looked back at her daughter, "What are your plans today? i was thinking you could take Lexi to the Community park and let her play with the neighbors' pets."

Sasha nodded as she swallowed her food, "I was just planning to stay in and play a game or something, but I could take her to the park, if she's up for it."

Indira rolled her eyes, "Sasha, darling. Lexi does not need to be "up for it". She is our pet and will do what we say or she will be disciplined. I know you think she's your friend, but you need to make sure she knows you're in charge. I want you to work on expressing your authority over her, alright?"

"Yes, Mother." Sasha replied with a hint of uneasiness. She finished her food and waited for Lexi to do the same before taking her up to her room.
