Breakfast at an elite academy

Kim arrived for breakfast early at 8:15. Classes didn't start until 9:00 and her friends didn't tend to arrive for breakfast until at least 8:30. As she ate her (admittedly tasty) breakfast, she contemplated her place at this academy. It's a place meant for the best and brightest, and it shows. The school itself is massive and is over 6 stories tall, and the grounds surrounding it are huge, and there's an Olympic sized swimming pool, and so on, yet she couldn't help but feel out of place. As she stared down at her breakfast, out of the corner of her eye she saw something that looked like a phone sitting on the ground underneath the table.

"Huh?" Kim thought to herself. She didn't recall it having been there when she sat down, though she probably just missed it. Kik reached down and picked it up, and taking a look at it, it seems to be a brand new phone. "Some people." She thought, tapping the screen to wake it up. To her surprise, there wass no lock screen, and she was immediately taken to a splash screen that read "OMNI APP" in large red block capitals. The screen then advancedto another, which simply has "enter change" and a text box underneath it.

Despite the increasing oddity of what's happened, Kim decided to try entering a harmless change. "The plates used in the school cafeteria are black". As she typed, a "submit change" button appeared. Once she typed herr change, she pressed the button, and then it happend.

Kim looked down at her plate, that until a second ago had been white, but was now sheer black. What was odder still is that it seemed that nobody else noticed the change. The few students in the cafeteria continued to eat as if nothing happened. Returning her eyse to the app, she saw a small pencil icon and an undo arrow. The pencil icon allows edits to change, and the undo arrow can undo them. As she sat staring at your newly white plate, considering just what to do with this newfound power, her head turned to see your friends enter the cafeteria from the hallway to the dormitories.

"Should I show them?"
