Break You Down

The sultry laugh of your tormentor echoed through the darkness that surrounded you. You were falling through an inky black nothingness.

The darkness swirled around you, you flailed and grasped for something but nothing caught. "I don't know what you're talking about. Where's Katie?? You mentioned my girlfriend you bitch, you better not have done anything to her!!"

Her laugh disappeared as you dropped out of the darkness, and landed on a hard tiled floor.

You picked up quite some momentum on your way down, so you hit hard. As she promised, you didn't die, your bones didn't break and you didn't go splat. But fuck did it hurt. Pain probably would have overwhelmed you had you not been knocked dizzy from the concussion.

Dizzy and blurred, you sat up, and your vision faded into focus. You seemed to be in a dirty bathroom stall, not the place you'd have expected... But fitting for how degraded you felt. Looking up, you suddenly stared into a sight you'd never dreamed possible, that terrified you to the bone.
