Chapter 5 by AnonTea AnonTea

Blades or brains?

Brains

You come up with a brilliant idea, only capable of working in this one specific scenario. Two defenseless panicked mages, who lost a third of their party within the first minute of your battle.

You begin to summon your illusions. They're illusions at the end of the day. Any attacks go right through them, revealing them as your illusions, but with what you have in mind that won't really matter...

––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

The shadows creep closer to them as the Druid's swarm slowly dissipates. Horrid, twisted beings lurk, drawing ever closer, reaching out to the duo.

They're too terrified to properly cast any spells, frozen in fear at the sight of living shadows reaching into the light and trying to drag them out...

Standing in the midst of your beautifully sculpted illusions, you smirk. If only your actual creations could achieve such greatness, such intimidating power!

You hiss in pain as a high-powered spell is blasted at you. Your illusions don't dispel, keeping the Blood Witch in the dark (pun not intended) of the true nature of these demonic shadows.

The Druid faints of fear, which has never happened since you were 'born' into this world as the fearsome Sculptor. The swarm of Fireflies slowly dissipates, and the dark advances...

"P-please... don't take me- wait a minute. I can just reset character! Take that shadows! I-"

You teleport behind her and give her a knock on the head with your hammer. Her HP drops, though not as dramatically as it would have upon a proper hit. She falls over and you grab her by the scruff of her neck and throw her into the wall, as Pontius Pilate would put it, 'vewy woughly.'

She is finally knocked ****. You proceed to take your newly damselled challengers...

and figure out where to put them.
