You turn around and go looking for Edin and Clare. You've got enough problems right now that one more isn't going to change anything. The party is still going strong and you are surprised by the number of nobles talking with soldiers, not just the officers but the rank and file.

"Christopher right." You look over to the woman who said your name. You recognised her from last night, she was one of the ones who got promoted.

"Yes, hi." You smile at without stopping your movement.

"We wanted to talk to you." She said following after you.

"We?" You asked slowing a little.

"The officers. We were hoping you could talk us through what happened in your fight." Her words stopped you. Turning around to face her you see the collection of officers looking at you.

"I," you looked back to where Edin and Clare had been but can't see them, it could take a while to find them and considering how you had ended the fight with Hanna explanation is probably warranted, "guess." You follow the woman back to her group of officers who all introduce themselves.

"Was it an illusion?" That being the first question was fair.

"No, all real. I've been training with Lady Stephanie for a few weeks, and with a handful of other swordswomen for the last two years." While you explained you couldn't help but feel like you were being checked out. Looking around the faces of the women present your feels was right. You'd gotten so used to this it didn't even fluster you anymore.

"You're training with Lady Stephanie?"

"At the academy yeah. For the speed I was moving at I just thread magic through my muscles, sheathe bone and veins with a thin layer of magic to reinforce with another shell around my skin." You hold up a hand and do exactly as you'd said. "Took me a few years to figure it out but I'm always improving it. Actually after see Lady Vatarie fight I added the layer over my skin."

The women looked at you and your hand. "Sheathing skin is standard armour, how do you thread your muscles?"

"Oh, well," you look at the faces around you, surprised by the seriousness they were approaching this with, "a muscle is like lots of bands all working together, but those bands mean there is space for your magic to get inside your muscle. Hang I can show you." You conjure an illusion around your hand, it's a bit more intense seeing it without skin that your thought it would be since you know it is an illusion but it still makes you woozy for a second. "Watch here." You point out your palm and using the illusion show them how you run magic through your muscles.

The women focus as you display how it works but you can see a bit of skepticism creeping in. "And that lets you move faster?"

"This no." You say with a bit of a laugh. "I do this." The illusion is suddenly filled with magic, each muscle glowing from all the magic threaded inside it. "I have to reinforce bones and veins so they don't tear while I'm moving." There are some soft gasps from the women and you try to hide the ego stroked smirk that comes to your lips.

"How long can you do that in combat?"

"I, have no idea, I've only ever had sparing matches and the longest one went for about a minute."

The women look at each other with collective understanding you are missing out on. "Thank Lord Christopher." They say and add a bow.

"No worries." You say back with a bow of your own, feeling awkward being bowed to, but you are aware that was an end to your conversation. As you walk off you wonder if they really needed that demonstration. Making your way towards your goal you see something you maybe should pay more attention too. Delilah and Aurora were talk with each other, behind an illusion. What they were saying you couldn't tell. What you could tell was that it was Delilah's illusion, the faint red tinge to the air around them was proof.
