Whether you like it or not, you have a couple of rare and valuable blood seeds and we must have you in the family. That much is obvious.

Less obvious is this. One of those seeds, the most valuable one, is not entirely compatible with your personality yet. So, we must change you. Before we turn you into a vampire. That is the reason why we keep you as prisoner, instead of start your education as a proper vampire by turning you.

We captured you less than a week ago. I saw some of my sisters mess with your mind a couple times and I know the sense of time is the first thing that fades under those conditions.

However, you are hardly a common prisoner in this house. You have a room like any member of the family. No one has touched your blood but me, and I only do so to apprise your blood seeds and personality development. You are free to walk around, “freedom of castle” if you will. We just won’t allow you to leave the property.

And, I am giving you all that privileged information. As you ask.

You have in your blood a seed named “Sunflower Shield Seed”, very rare. Only 6 know vampires still in existence have it.

All of them are still **** to sunlight, in some degree, even having developed the seed for over one thousand years. However, they are far less **** than other vampires. They can tolerate being in a room illuminated by sunlight for a time between seconds and minutes. Direct touch of the sun will burn any of them, but the most powerful have survived over one minute of it. Red Rodrik, declared enemy of our family, had almost all his skin turned into charcoal by direct sunlight. It happened over 600 years ago, he still is covert by burned scars, was blind up to a couple years ago. Despite all, he remains in existence and his mind is very active despite the pain. Unfortunately.

Eventually, our enemy will regain full strength. If he isn’t destroyed before that time.

Sunlight makes even those six vampires sick, temporarily weak. On the bright side, it also burns mind-control, compulsions, and all sorts of unnatural chains that can be used to keep vampires under control. It makes vampires with developed Sunflower Shield harder to control inside the family. On the same time, makes them even more useful than they would be otherwise.

Our family is in a less than ideal situation, is better that you understand that right now.

All vampire families have enemies, this Red Rodrik is an old vampire, what makes him powerful as I explained to you. He is a King a head of family who has also the Royal Seed in his blood never managed to plant his Sunflower seed in any one of his children, but he keeps trying. Oh, vampires do not decline with age. He is more physically powerful than he ever was, and that makes him possibly the most powerful warrior in vampire society. But he is sick. It can happen with vampires as old as he is. His mind was infected long time ago, and there is no cure for it. He will destroy himself, in the next five years. Possibly still this year.

Families do not keep many vampires with Royal Seed, for obvious reason. That would be an open door for internal conflict. We have one substitute to Marrek. Queen Vespa. She has respectable 30 thousand and a few years, acceptable enough for a head of family, and she has the Royal Seed developed, has created some children of her own.

She is a woman, what, in our society constitutes a weakness. As was explained to you and I mentioned again in recent conversation. Would not be too much of a problem, if we didn’t have so many enemies watching us closely. Waiting for the moment King Marrek ends his days.

Your Sunflower Shield will serve us as justification to conscript you in our ranks despite you not being a blood relative of our family.

To vampiric society this will serve as reason enough to grant you some special status inside this stronghold. Have you trained by our best.

Your other blood seed is so rare that even if another appriser happened to taste your blood the risk of they noticing it would be close to zero. I am a rare talent in my specialization. Even if someone could notice it, after your development start, they will not know what it is. Few would, since there is no vampire in existence with that blood seed. And the last one was destroyed over 150 thousand years ago.

I myself only tasted his preserved blood, once.

It is called “Monkey Seed”, by the ancient. Or, well, “Mimetic Seed”. I should have started with that second name first, since the first is less flattering.

With that seed developed you will become able to use the power of the blood seeds of all vampires. Without even need to develop the seeds one by one.

Basically, by drinking the blood of a vampire, you can use the developed blood seed in it. Up to the level of your Monkey Seed, proportionally. For as long as the blood stays in your system, what can be up to a week. By itself that is an immensely powerful resource, since it makes you able to replace any vampire in this house, for a limited period.

The real advantage of that seed is beyond that. What makes you potentially the most powerful vampire in this house if the fact that once you develop the Monkey Seed beyond a certain limit, you should be able to steal the seed you imitate. Permanently.

This is not the same than use it wile the blood of other vampire remains in your system.

You will need to develop each new seed normally, what should take thousands of years in some cases, but. Still. What you have in you is the definitive form of vampirism. The power to drink vampiric powers. Once you have it, you should accumulate power faster than any other vampire in existence.

Considering that no one outside the family knows about you, your powers will be a secret weapon. The edge our family needs to endure those difficult times.

We cannot give you the chance to run away or choose to stay human. Do not work that way. You fate was defined irreversibly the moment I sipped your blood.

Your most important seed, your personality is not ready for it.

We must shape you. Right now, you are too kind and generous, we need to make you sharp. You must have some drops of cruelty in you before we transform you into a vampire. A predatorial nature comes with vampirism, for free, we can take that for granted. However, in your case, we need to add some extra sauce in the mix.

You are just, too much a “good person” for our needs.

What happens is that, unfortunately, to permanently acquire the blood seed of another vampire you will need to win a battle of will. The process burns your victim from inside. Not only the blood seed you are stealing. It causes permanent damage, leaves your victim defenceless, a shadow of its previous self. Any hesitation in the crucial moment could cause your destruction. Will certainly cause your defeat.

That is my reason to be as generous with information as you find me. I need you to understand what we must do next.

Drianne will not use any sort of compulsion in her work, to not risk leaving traces that vampires could notice. What would spoil you for the role of spy for us inside other families.

If you tell anything about our real purpose to this 300 years old vampire cunt, we shall or course hunt and painfully kill everybody you know and care about. That is obvious.
