Tae checked at her cards briefly before rolling 1 and negate they didn't seem to be all that good but meh whatever she was about to roll the dice when...

"Tae-san before you roll" Shioko had spoken up "could you choose your pawn first."

"Huh, but isn't the game automatic or something it doesn't matter what i chose the game is going to choose for me in the end."

Not having any desire to share her theories with her former students she just thought of some bullshit explanation on the spot

"I am aware, this is a math experiment so i guess i should rephrase my request. Tae-San if you could choose which pawn you would play as which one would you ?"

Tae rolled her eyes "Fine, the blue one."

"Are you sure you don't wanna change?"

"What is this all about ?" Asked Tae getting a bit annoyed with all this pointless questions.

"This is part of the experiment what you choose will affect the probability of getting the pawn you want."

Aiko looked at Shioko with suspicion she believed knew the problem their ex teacher was talking about but she had gotten this all wrong the problem normally involved 10 boxes an announcer that knew the boxes contents and it was about understanding probabilities not manipulate them additionally Shioko sensei was a literature major professor so why get so worked up over math ? However neither Tae nor Yukimi seemed to find it particularly strange.

"I am sticking with blue thanks can i roll now ?"

"Please." Shioko made a gesture to further encourage Tae to make her roll.

Not even a moment after the die stoped bouncing and came to a stop the blue piece came to life. Shioko for her part couldn't help but smile in satisfaction.

Tae a bit annoyed from all the questions and ending last place hariedly drew her card, in it there was a depiction of what looked like water droplets and the word "Sow" writen on the top.

Tae didn't get it, her guess was the game was making use of english phrases for the cards and what they did but was this some sort of agricultural thing how would she know anything about plants?

With a sigh she declared that she would continue getting blasted with orange light as a result but when the light faded there was no change to speak of not even her expression like with Shioko.

"So what did it do ?" She asked the others but was met only with curious gazes or shrugs

"Nothing huh ? I guess i am like Sensei then, here sis it's your turn."

And just like that Tae passed the dice to Aiko unaware that the effect the card had on her body was far from "nothing" the card had greatly enhanced Tae's perspiration in both volume and frequency.
