Blonde

Xander waited, nervous, ready and willing to run. He had made his choice, choice number one, the dumb blonde act. Now it was just seeing how Anya reacted to the change.

It didnt take long. Two minutes and Anya came out of the school and walked towards him. She didnt seem different. She was still Anya shaped and dressed like herself. Of course she wasnt stomping around and glaring while snarling curses instead she had her head up high, big smile on her face and a bouncy step.

"Here I am! And I totally took yer advice and I got ridda all them negative waves! I am now totes positive waves, ready to hang with you and have sum fun, Xandy." She sing songed in a syrupy sweet valley girl voice.

Both Xander and Anya startled at her words. Xander leaned forward and stared as Anya put her hands to her throat.

"OH My GAWD! My voice!" Anya put her hands over her mouth.

"Uuuuuuh...." Xander nervously looked for the best avenue of escape.

Anya was wide eyed as she slowly let her hands fall from her mouth, she worked her jaw for a second and then testing herself slowly started talking, "I... sound... BITCHIN'!"

"Uuuuh..." Xander looked at her and then at his chosen escape route.

Anya looked around, one hand straying to her throat. She stilled for a second until a giggle emerged from her. The giggling continued for a full minute until she had to take a deep breath. As it subsided she composed herself, looked around and favored Xander with a great big smile.

"Are you okay?" Xander asked. That giggling was awfully close to being hysterical.

"Peachy keen." Anya stiffled a giggle. "The Hofff is just, like, being silly. I made an oppsey and, like, Hoff's sooper dooper mad at me and, like, now I talk like this." She made an exaggerated frowny face.

"Riiiiight." He reached out a hand to her, "And you're okay with that?"

"Silly." Anya playfully swatted at his hand, "Positive Waves, Xandy, gotta be positive. Like, whatevs. It could totes be worse, yeah? It could sooo be worse. The Hoff can be awesomely gruesome, like, rilly gnarly." She shrugged.

"Okay." Xander was more then a little wigged out by this whole situation and Anya's behavior wasnt helping. But needs must and he had a demon to appease. "I mean, yeah, this seems like a fair punishment for daring to do what you did."

"Its like you said, Xandy, I was soooooper dumb an, like, tried to play The Hoff." She shook her head and made a silly face, "Nobody, like, plays The Hoff, that's totally rule numero uno. Only stupid people try and cheat The Hoff. And, there I go and try and cheat The Hoff. Talk 'bout stoooopid."

Xander slowly nodded his head. "Kay." He waved a hand at the road, "So you're good to go?"

"Soooper kewl!" Anya gave him two thumbs up, "Let's p-a-r-t-y!"
