Blobby: Before...

Darkness encapsulated her as sunlight warmed her face. It wasn't much, but on the sunny days, it was one of the few things she could truly experience of the outside world. Suddenly, a brief breeze caused her hair to blow in front of her face, indicating the door had opened and closed. "Hello?" She moved her mouth, and felt the vibrations of her voice, but heard no sound leave her lips.

Out of habit, she reached her hand out, only to recoil when claws scrape up against it. The clawed hand takes hers and performs an intricate gesture. Peace.

With a shy chuckle, she reaches both hands out, palms up. "Sorry. It's been some time since you visited." She could never get used to the sensation of speaking, not hearing her own words.

The clawed hand is joined by another, and performs more gestures. Sorry. You know how things are.

"How is life, outside?"

She playfully slaps the hand. "Stop! You say that every time!"

The clawed hands shake from laughter. And it never gets old. A pause. Things are...changing. My boss...she's preparing something big, and she wants my help. I need to find someone, and...I thought you might be willing to...participate.

"I...I don't know how much I can help..."

She furrows her brow. "What do you mean?"

"I'm sure. Did you know you're the only one to visit me in here? If I can help you, I want to."

A pause, then a kiss on the cheek. If that's how you feel, then I guess I should make your last night worth remembering... A clawed finger reaches under her dress.

She grabs the perverted hand. "Wait. If I do this, you must tell me your name."

Another pause, this time longer, as the grabbed hand raises itself to sign. Find me after. Then, I promise I'll tell you. There's more **** on 'promise', showing the emphasis. Now, let's get to the main event...

Blobby wakes up. It wasn't the first time she had dreamt, but...this was different. She slumps, trying to focus. Why was it so dark? Why was it so quiet? A stirring in her companion draws her attention. Could he help? But...how can I ask for help? She slumps again, thinking for a long while before drifting back into her slumber.
