Bleed out

You take a step back and almost fall over. You're losing a lot of blood and you're feeling extremely light-headed. Stubbornly, you hang around for a while to listen to the police sing your praises, but before you know it, you can't stand straight and collapse to the ground.

By now, a pool of your blood has formed in the middle of the warehouse and the few officers remaining have noticed it.

"Woah! Check it out. Why is this pool of blood expanding?" You hear one of them say while you lay there on the floor. You're too weak to get up, and you start to wonder what would happen to you if you died just then. Would your body become visible again, or would they just be stuck with an invisible corpse that they wouldn't know what to do with? So, with your last ounce of strength, you deactivate your invisibility ring and the last thing you hear are the loud gasps of the officers as you suddenly appear in front of them out of nowhere. Then, you lose consciousness.
