Waking up in the Hospital

You wake up in a plain room and it takes you a while to orientate yourself. You're still feeling lightheaded from the loss of blood, but you see now that you're hooked up to a bag of blood in a bed. You're in a hospital room. You immediately jerk awake and try to get up, but both of your wrists are handcuffed to the bed.

"Shit!" you exclaim. It looks like the police found you and you have no way of getting away since you can't activate your rings which are still on your fingers. Your clothes, including your mask, are all gone, replaced with the standard hospital robe. You wonder why they left your rings on.

The room is small and only has a small window with bars on it. It must be one of those rooms they use specifically to treat criminals. The door opens and in walks a doctor and a nurse. You can see an armed police officer posted outside the door, reading a magazine while sitting on a chair.

"Good morning, mister...?" the doctor asks. He's somewhere in his late 50s, with a balding head and tiny glasses sitting on his huge nose. He's a little plumb all over and what remains of his hair looks greasy. The nurse with him is younger. Much younger, probably in her mid to late 20s. She's black and her hair is styled short in a bob cut. Even in her scrubs, you can see that she's very slim. She's pretty and you would be turned on by your sexy nurse fantasy if you weren't handcuffed to the bed at the moment.

"I'm The Ringer," you state.

"Okay, 'The Ringer.' They've seen your face so I'm sure they already know or will know your real name soon. Anyway, I don't care. I'm just the doctor. Your shoulder wound is going to be okay. I removed the bullet in it and you have full use of your arm, just take it easy for a few days. It'll still be sore."

"Where are my clothes?"

"We had to cut the shirt off you. The rest is somewhere else. The police took them so that you wouldn't run. We tried to remove the rings on your hand there," the doctor points at your hand, "but they wouldn't come off."

You realize then that the magic rings might not be able to be removed by other people, and you have an idea.

"It hurts. Can you please try to remove them again?" you beg the doctor. He nods to the nurse, who looks annoyed but goes over to the side of your bed and examines the rings, pulling at them to no avail.

"Oh, there's a trick to it. You're got to press down on the stone," you say, hoping that someone else can activate the rings for you. The nurse touches the mind control ring and immediately you feel its power taking effect.

"You two will not scream or shout, and you'll do anything I ask you to and answer my questions," you say. The doctor and nurse nod and look at you.

"Uncuff me."

"We don't have the keys."

"Get the officer outside," you command. The doctor does as you instruct and he calls the officer in.

"Yes?" the officer says, poking his head into the room.

"Come in and close the door, then uncuff me."

The officer does so, and you are finally able to move your hands. You touch your shoulder and it is indeed very sore, but you're feeling much better than before. Looking around at the three people under your control, you're about to teleport back to the safety of the mansion when you realize that the authorities have seen your face.
