Blazing Clash

Blaze and Silver stood side by side, their determination burning brightly as Metal Blaze prepared for battle. The menacing machine's eerie eyes locked onto its target, its voice surprisingly articulate, causing Silver's confusion to deepen. "Target locked," it declared, focusing on Blaze, before mockingly adding, "Blaze the Cat, so you returned. I thought you ran away to that other dimension. Is that Silver the Hedgehog? You went for backup and got the weakest hog? You couldn't entertain me with Sonic?"

Blaze's fiery response was more ferocious than Silver had ever seen, her flames erupting with unprecedented intensity. "He is not weak!" she thundered. Silver was taken aback by her fierce defense of him as Metal Blaze tilted its head in curiosity. "I'm going to reduce you to slag for that!" Blaze vowed, her combat mode engaged, and Silver joined her in readiness.

Metal Blaze let out a mechanical laugh as Blaze got back into combat mode, Silver joining her, "So the Princess does have a temper, I can't wait to snuff out that flame of yours," the machine moved as Silver gripped it again and flung it away Blaze concentrating as a quick blur appeared next to Silver, Silver ducking under the fire that Metal Blaze erupted from it's weaponry.

Metal Blaze tried to leg sweep Silver who countered with his hand, and then flung the bot away with his power. He lifted his hand as a psychic knife tore up the ground and came for Metal Blaze, it responding by using it's metal body to block the shot. Metal Blaze went behind Silver as it kicked at his head, Silver ducking to avoid it. Metal Blaze started to heat up herself as the malicious machine bellowed in furious anger "You annoying great fool! Why can't I hit you!? I'm faster than, you stronger than you, superior to you!"

Silver taunted "Simple, I'm smarter," Metal Blaze responded with rapid punches that Silver had to cross his arms to block. With his powers, he held Metal Blaze down who was started to resist his abilities. Silver used both of his hands as Metal Blaze was stuck in place, unable to move, "Game over, Metal Blaze, you can't run, it's just no use!", Silver mocked the machine as Metal Blaze braced itself for being flung or whatever Silver had in mind.

Suddenly it turned hearing a "Thanks Silver," from Blaze as she had a ball of flames in her hand gaining a devilish little smirk, "Take this!" as the ball launched Silver throwing Metal Blaze into it. As the ball hit the machine, Silver had to shield his eyes as Blaze watched the flames engulfing her mechanical counter part. Metal Blaze tried to counter but started to spark as it looked around.

"Systems Overheating?!" it exclaimed trying to move, "How can I be overheating?! Cooling System Failure...why...can't, I ...MOVE"

Silver floated up as he noticed Blaze looking up at him as well, teal wrapping around his body as he dived down, his teal foot crashing into Metal Blaze, going through the fire as the machine slammed into the ground, Silver's foot leaving a hole in it, as Silver stumbled a little only to be caught by Blaze. Metal Blaze sparked and sputtered trying to move "Why...how?" trying to come up with theories.

Blaze moved one hand "As Princess of this Dimension, Guardian of the Sol Emeralds, I hereby order that you be silent, Metal Blaze!" a fireball blasted Metal Blaze as it finally shattered apart, Blaze coldly finishing with "Forever."

Silver and Blaze locked eyes as Blaze said "That was gutsy," Silver giving a smirk, he could hear her heart beating, he felt blood rushing to his face as Blaze quickly turned away, Silver noticing she was a little red herself. Silver said "We should probably rest up before we take on Nega,"

Blaze nodded saying "Marine's place will do, it's remote enough for it to probably be in good shape" as Silver followed Blaze, the battle was won, but this war was far from over.
