Chapter 9 by Zeebop Zeebop

Does anyone discover Sue Storm in Porkum's lair?

Black Cat Is Watching

Me-ow, Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat, thought to herself as she watched the Invisible Woman stuff her face. She hadn't expected to find the heroine here. In fact, she hadn't known what exactly to expect. This place should be abandoned, but somebody had paid a lot of money to refurbish it, and supplies had been delivered regularly. That wasn't enough to catch the thief's attention. No, that had been when she had been stolen a delivery uniform for an unrelated job and listened in to the very specific instructions that had been given about this very building.

Felicia's interest was further raised as she studied the building. The security systems were way too advanced for this neighborhood, the kind of stuff normally only ever seen in supervillain lairs. Yet all that technology was restrained by a need to keep concealed, and the building itself wasn't designed as a fortress to keep people out. It had been pitifully easy to find a gap in the coverage—thanks in part to a well-timed glitch from her 'bad luck'—and so in her white-fur-trimmed catsuit, the lithe and athletic young woman with the platinum hair and domino mask had penetrated the building via a not-well-secured bit of ductwork, and climbed down to what had been the basement floor of the processing plant.

Now here she was, in some kind of fancy kitchen, watching one of the most powerful superheroines in the world scarf down bonbons without any concern for her diet.

Or without any self-control, the Black Cat realized, suddenly wary. There must be something in those chocolates, maybe something addictive. This is a trap.

As soon as the thought came to Felicia, she became aware of a sharp smell, like an unwashed animal, the nearly-silent pad of large feet. The thief ducked further into the shadows, effortlessly avoiding the eyes of cameras above, which were designed to detect and track intruders, but which were suddenly glitching, leaving blank spots as she moved.

"Well, well, well," a thick, deep, phlegmy voice boomed out. "Sue Storm. The Invisible Woman. Can't get enough of my creamy centers, can ya? There's more where that came from. A lot more."

The Black Cat's path took her behind the row of cabinets. She saw, from behind, a hulking pink figure, obese, nude, nearly as wide as he was tall, with a distinctly porcine head and, unbelievably, a small curly tail just at the base of his spine. Her nose wrinkled as she realized the source of the smell was his own unwashed body. Yet something about him was exciting too. Felicia felt an unexpected but unmistakable sexual excitement build within her.

Then she saw it. In his left hand, a huge crystal. Light yellow in color. Flawless. It radiated a sickly yellow light. His right hand, Felicia couldn't see. Probably holding some weapon pointed at the Invisible Woman.

The pink tip of Felicia's tongue wetted her lips. A gem that size was worth a small fortune.

Maybe she should help Sue Storm...

Does the Black Cat help the Invisible Woman?
