Black Canary

Peter froze. He could see trouble. And for once it wasnt some dickhead in an animal costume. Or alien goo stuck to a mentally unwell gym nut.

No. Today it was two ladies in tight leather. Today Black Canary was sitting next to Jessica Jones and there was an open bottle of bourbon between them. Black Canary grabbed the bottle, took a long drink out of it and slammed it back down on the table the ladies were sitting at. Given the looks on their faces and the tones of the voices he heard coming in, they weren't happy.

And just when he thought he could make his escape Jessica Jones looked up. "Spidey!" She had a weird grin on her face. "Join us."

Spider-Man was aware that this was not a request. Despite the fact that it felt like a bad idea, Peter did slowly walk over to the table. "Ladies."

Jessica Jones stood up, slung an arm over his shoulder and used her superstrong muscles to pull him in close. "I gotta go, Pete. So you stay here and take care of Canary."

"Ummmm...." He turned to look her in the eye.

She gave him a squeeze, "Pete, its date night with Luke. I went to the effort to be sexy by putting on leather pants for tonight. And I am already late."

"Yeah but...." he gestured helplessly as Black Canary took another long drink of bourbon.

"Ollie, Ollied. A mission went wonky and while captured GA did what he does with some hench wench and got caught en flagrante delicto by the rescue team." Jessica whispered.

"Oy." Peter shook his head. Green Arrow and his libido.

"Yeah. She gets one or two more belts from the bottle then cut her off. Get her to bed. Make sure she doesnt puke on herself. Kay? Kay." Jessica Jones instructed and gave Peter a squeeze.

"Theres got to be someone else. Someone female." Peter pointed out. "If she pukes on herself I cant exactly help her, uh, clean up and change outfits."

"Pete. You are one of the good ones. I trust you to be a good guy if she pukes on herself." Jessica confided. "You manage to handle yourself around Miss Kitty."

Peter scowled under his mask. "Black Cat."

"See, you'e got experience with blondes named after color coded animals." Jessica let go of him and patted his cheek.

Stepping back to the table Jessica leaned in and pressed a kiss to Black Canaries forehead. "Take it easy tonight, Di. I gotta go. Spidey's gonna sit with you."

"I'm a grown fucking woman. I can handle myself." Dinah Lance the Black Canary griped as she grabbed the bottle again.

Jessica grabbed the bottle and used her superstrength to take the bottle away. "Uh huh." She shook the half full bottle. "This was full an hour ago. And I didnt do most of the drinking this time."

Dinah looked at the bottle and then at Jessica. She then looked at Spider-Man. She looked him up and down and held her stare for a minute before she held out her hand, "Take me to bed, Spidey."

"Uhhh-" Spider-Man looked between the two women. The normally unflappable Black Canary was totally schnockered tonight. That could have been just some light teasing or that could have been a demand for sex. He didnt know which it was, he looked at Jessica Jones to see if she knew. Jessica had her eyebrows raised in surprise so it seemed she didnt know which it was either.

Jessica looked between Spider-Man and Black Canary, "Di.... dont do anything I-"

"Shut up smartmouth." Black Canary stood up and held out her arm.

"Oh what the hell." Peter muttered to himself. Making sure Black Canary didnt **** on her own puke in the night like Jimi Hendrix was probably a better use of his time then swinging around New York. Stepping to Black Canary and taking her arm in his Spider-Man nodded his head. He put in his best Jarvis impersonation, "Of course. Right this way Madam."
