Bittersweet Return

Blaze and Silver jumped through the portal and landed on their feet as Silver noticed Blaze cover her mouth, as Silver sighed seeing it all before, the desolation, the horror, and the carnage, sadly it was all to familiar with Silver. He saw that Blaze on the other hand wasn't so used to it as she covered her mouth in horror. Silver looked at her and said "We'll save your world, I promise," as he looked on resolute, that confidence seemingly spilled towards Blaze as Silver followed her when she motioned for him to do so.

As they kept moving, Blaze held her hand up, causing Silver to and get lower to hide as there were footsteps in the brush, they started slow and kept slow, but started to keep up as from the shadows of the forest an orange girl leaped out of the shadows and bearhugged Blaze, Silver looked at her, she was small, clearly young, she was wearing a green shirt, black shorts, and had a stripped tail, "Blaze, yer' not killhauled!" she said so happy practically crying into her chest "I was so worried for ya' girl!"

Relief flooded Blaze saying, "Marine, you're alive." Marine broke the hug as Blaze said "Marine, this is Silver, Silver, Marine." Introducing the two as Silver shook his hand the two giving a nod to each other. Blaze said "Captain Marine, I need a status report."

Marine sighed "It's bad, Blaze, really really bad." not even sugar coating it, "Eggman Nega is just making a huge mess of the place, and that metal fake of you is just making it even worse. I had to correct some dummies that you didn't join the enemy. That thing is taking away your rep' girl!"

Blaze looked at her in bewilderment, as Marine continued "Not that Nega's any better, he's got this new monstrosity proudly displayin' the Sol Emeralds, he's smashed several cities to smitherines!" Marine said in utter fear "We're really in the water now, Blaze. I don't know how we're going to win!"

Silver took in all of what Marine was saying, things were worse than they thought, he saw Blaze's hope die down with each word that Marine was saying. Silver paused though as he heard something mechanical in the distance while Blaze comforted the clearly scared child. Preparing himself, Silver got on guard as it happened, a robot burst out, in Blaze's signature purple color, coming right for her, Silver reacted using his powers to fling the bot away from Blaze who stood up defiant. Blaze said "Marine, get back to your home," She stood next to Silver and saw the flames burst from her body, as he admired how fired up, pun not intended, she was getting.

As Metal Blaze slowly rose from the ground, it became clear that this robotic replica was a formidable and intimidating foe. The metallic version of Blaze shared her fiery color palette, but its appearance lacked the grace and elegance of the real Blaze. Its movements were jerky, lacking the fluidity of a living being, and its eyes were cold, glowing with a sinister red hue that contrasted sharply with Blaze's vibrant and warm amber eyes.

Metal Blaze's once pristine form bore the scars of battle, with visible dents and scratches marring its surface, evidence of the destruction it had wrought upon cities and innocent lives. The metal that comprised its body reflected a cold, soulless demeanor, in stark contrast to the genuine emotions that flickered across Blaze's face.

As the robot advanced, its limbs moved mechanically, devoid of the natural finesse and agility that Blaze possessed. Its flaming abilities, which were an extension of Blaze's own essence, looked more like calculated weapons rather than manifestations of a passionate heart.
