Essentially the idea was just... If you want to continue forward you have to offer me something... but I suppose there's not much point and you could simply bypass it with open anyway," Dahlia muses as the door unbars itself and unlocks.

"As for Alide. I still have some base control here as I just demonstrated, but I don't think I could **** Alide away he-" she starts before being interrupted.

"Not as you are currently no," Alide states as she appears sitting on the table, "though it's arguable if even at your full power you'd be able to **** me away again," she adds.

"That's not going to happ-" Yulia starts, but then gasps as suddenly something lances down from above and wraps around her neck, yanking her into the air and starting to hang her as she struggles to get it to release her. Her legs kicking violently. There is a creature on the ceiling, essentially just a small plant bulb, a vine extending down from it and wrapping around Yulia's neck.
