Bimbo or Millionaire?

Trinity sighed. Time was frozen and she was the only one moving on the dam. She might have been capable of magic on her own once, but all this action was really taking a lot out of her. She just wanted to grab Eric and curl up on a couch and watch a movie. Oh well, it will be over soon. She watched the votes come in, somewhat surprised by the split. She thought it would have been a little more even, oh well. She would be happy for any of her friends to win the wish, even if she did have a favourite. Still, she had to be very careful to be neutral for everyone, lest the producers intervene.

She teleported back to the theatre to prepare for the next show. She used her borrowed magic to set the stage up for the next game and then brought all the eliminated contestants together to be part of it. Then she teleported back to reveal the results.

She unfroze time and smiled, “Welcome back everyone. Thank you to our audience for your votes. There were almost no votes for Alexandra, and Jenny and Sarah were essentially tied in popularity. Ultimately the audience decided that Yaz will not be continuing with more than 50% of the vote. Thank you for a good show Yaz. Now then you must all be tired, so let’s fix that,” She snapped her fingers and let the magic flow. Everyone would feel completely revitalized now, “Perfect. Let’s leave reality behind and return to the stage.” Another snap and they were all teleported back to the theatre.

Eric was on his throne facing the stage. Trinity and the not-eliminated contestants were all together in the centre, and rising up on several levels was everyone else. Each woman was dressed in an identical black shimmering dress and holding a briefcase with a number ranging from 1 to 24. Of course there weren’t enough, so Trinity had to copy them a few times each.

“This may look familiar to some of you, like the American television game ‘Deal or no Deal’, but really it is based on a show from Ciela and Isla’s world called Bimbo or Billionaire! The game is simple…” She was about to keep talking but Jenny cut her off.

“Sarah’s going to use her immunity token.” Jenny said forcefully.

Trinity looked over at Sarah, “Is this true?”

Sarah nodded, “Yes. Please.”

“Very well, Sarah go sit on the throne with Eric. You can watch this round,” Trinity waved and Sarah was teleported away, “Now then as I was saying…this game is simple. There are 24 cases in front of us. 12 of these cases contain dollar amounts, ranging from $0.01 up to $1 billion!” Trinity paused and put a hand to her ear. Oh, interesting, “Sorry. Due to budget cuts the top case only contains 1 million dollars! Does that make any sense on a magical show where you don’t get to keep the money? No! But who cares, moving on. The other twelve contain bimbo cases, representing transformations to turn you into the perfect bimbo.

Each of you will pick a case to keep. Then you’ll take turns opening cases and revealing what’s inside. After each round I’ll get an offer to present to you for your cases. You can press the big red button,” Trinity made four pillars appear with large red buttons on top, “To accept the deal. Or you can close this clear glass lid to reject it.

We’ll continue until either everyone has taken a deal or every case is revealed. The goal is to earn the most money, whoever does will be the winner. Whoever earns the least will be eliminated.

If you reach the final deal and reject it, then you’ll end up opening your case and will be stuck with that. If it happens to be a bimbo case…well I’m sure you can all figure out what will happen there.

You might be wondering about ties, say for example everyone takes the first deal offered. In that case the tied contestants will open their cases and get their case value added to their deal.

Now then I’m sure the mental math will be easy for you to evaluate if you know the values available in the cases…but where’s the fun in that? All I’m allowed to say is that the average value of all cases, giving bimbo cases a value of zero, is less than $100,000. Wow, that is not helpful at all, is it? For the audience we’ll display the case values on the screen, even if the contestants can’t see.”

“Now then, let’s begin! Jenny, pick your case!” Trinity said cheerfully.

Jenny looked up and down, “Um. 10?” The Beatriz that was holding that case walked over and handed it to Jenny, then disappeared.

“Next up Alexandra!” Trinity called out.

Alexandra picked case 24 from Isla. Then Valerie picked case 18 from Felicia, and finally Ciela picked case 6 from Stephanie.

“Now then those are your cases until the end. There are 20 cases left. We will go through 4 rounds with each of you opening a case. After those 4 cases are opened the Producers will make you an offer to ‘buy’ your cases from you. The 5th round will only open two cases before an offer is made. The 6th and final round, if we reach it, will open one of the two remaining cases. If that offer is rejected you’ll have to open your own case. Let’s begin.”

Round 1 - 20 Cases Remaining

Jenny was up first. She really didn’t have any strategy at this point so she picked case 7 at random. Kali opened it to reveal $5000. Jenny had no idea if that was a good thing or a bad thing. She turned around to take a look at Sarah. She was smiling and waved at her. Jenny waved back and turned back to the game.

Alexandra had just picked a case and revealed a bimbo symbol. “Oh that’s a good one to get out of the way. Intelligence, as in intelligence loss. Good to know none of you risk being a true bimbo. Ok, Valerie you are up.” Trinity explained cheerfully. Jenny was glad that it was gone. She didn’t want another transformation, but could handle a physical one. Intelligence loss though? No thank you.

It was Valerie’s turn, she picked case 14, another bimbo symbol. “Another bimbo symbol, this one represents career change. Great job finding those mental changes early girls! Alright last case for this round, Ciela, what’ll it be?” Trinity continued to move them along.

Ciela pointed at one of the Stephanie's, “I’ll take case 23.” Stephanie opened it to reveal $100,000.

“Oh, bad luck there. Alright I’m getting an offer from the producers, they’ll give you $78000 for your cases. Your buttons are now live, hit it to accept, or close the lid to reject. You have one minute.”

Jenny stared at her button. Was that good, or bad? Trinity had said the average was less than $100,000, so this offer might be average or even below average. Fuck, why was she being mad to do math? She was a model, not a mathematician. She turned to look back at Sarah for advice but as she turned her head Trinity was suddenly there blocking her view.

“No help!” Trinity explained.

“Fuck. Alright.” Jenny closed the lid, rejecting the offer. It was too soon to stop playing, she didn’t really know where things were going yet.

She watched the others. Alexandra rejected it shortly after she had. Valerie waited until the last possible second to reject it too. Ciela however, made no decision at all.

“Wow Ciela, you just couldn’t decide huh? Well we’ll take that as a no deal this round, but next round there will be a punishment for anyone who can’t make up their minds, got it? Now then let’s start with Ciela this time. Pick a case.”

Jenny watched Ciela bite her lip, why was she having such a hard time with this game? Something was different about her since she’d joined the Harem. She’d always seemed nice, like a big sister looking out for them. But now her behaviour was puzzling at times, like she was always trying to put everyone else first, and didn't have drive of her own. Jenny was worried about her, but didn’t know how she could help in an individual challenge like this one.

Round 2 - 16 Cases Remaining

Ciela wasn’t sure if she should have taken that last offer. She didn’t want to win, she wanted to help the others out. If she’d taken it then she might end up last and help them, but also it’s possible they find the million dollar case next and the value would plummet. Oh what to do? She was so torn. Well, she had to pick a case now. Mali opened it to reveal…a 1! Oh no, now she should have taken the deal since the value was going to go up. Gah! This was so frustrating!.

Jenny picked a case next, $100. The value goes even higher. Alexandra picked a case worth $1000 and then Valerie found a bimbo case, ‘Body Shape’. The value was definitely going up.

Trinity confirmed it when she announced the next total, $90000. This time Ciela decided right away to reject it. All the cases they opened this round were below the average. The case worth a million was obviously skewing the total quite high. She tried doing some mental math. Even if every other case was worth 0, the average would be about $60000. Three of the 12 bimbo cases were revealed, so 9 of the 16 cases were worth zero. So besides the million, the rest of the cases couldn’t add up to much more than $500,000. That could even be one case. If either of those big ticket cases got picked then the value would plummet to almost nothing. The odds that the next offer would be worse. Since she didn’t want to win, she had to reject it.

Ciela turned to see what the others decided. Jenny rejected it again. Valerie did too, while giving Ciela some eye. Alexandra was the last to decide, but she ended up taking the deal.

“Well our first deal is done, Alexandra is out with $95000! Congrats!, you’ll have to sit tight and see what happens. Don’t go anywhere!

Alright this round still has four cases, just for fun Alexandra can still pick, go ahead lead us off this time.”

Round 3 - 12 Cases Remaining

Alexandra had taken the deal. She wasn’t a math whiz, but it seemed like the right call. She wasn’t a fan of the tv show, but she’d seen a few episodes. People always got caught up chasing the grand prize, they forgot to think rationally. It seemed to her that with so many bimbo cases remaining there must just be a few very high money cases left. Better to get something now rather than risk ending up with nothing.

Alexandra still had to pick, even if it didn’t affect her anymore. She picked case 22, a bimbo symbol, ‘Hair’. Well at least she was glad to get rid of bimbo cases for her friends.

Valerie was next and found a penny. Ciela got another bimbo symbol, ‘Clothing Style’. Wow, Jenny got a bimbo symbol too, ‘Compulsion’. Alexandra was wrong, the total was definitely going up.

“Wow great round girls, the Producers are now offering $120,000!” Trinity shouted.

Alexandra looked at the others. They’d be crazy not to take it this time. They’d be guaranteed to beat her. Even if all three took it it would be Alexandra eliminated, although they might face a bimbo case if they did. Maybe that explained their hesitation. Jenny made up her mind first, and took the deal. Valerie was glaring at Ciela, who seemed oblivious.

“What are you doing!?” Valerie shouted at Ciela, “Take the damn deal!”

Ciela looked confused, “What? No. You take it.”

Valerie looked visibly angry now, Alexandra didn’t know what was going on, “You should both take it.” She suggested.

Valerie turned swiftly, “Stay out of this. Actually no, tell her to stop sacrificing herself. That’s what she's doing,” Valerie turned back to Ciela, “Take it! I promise I won’t!”

Is that what Ciela was doing? She had been acting a little odd. Of course Alexandra thought of her like a big sister, it was natural for her to look out for everyone, right? Then again, maybe she’d been taking it too far. It was surprising she’d made it this far given how selfless she acted. If not for others losing VP and risking elimination she might have exited this competition sooner.

Time was running out. Not willing to risk a punishment, Valerie and Ciela both rejected the deals. Valerie was still seething at Ciela. Why did it matter to her so much? If Valerie knew this was the deal to take, why not just take it and let Ciela do her own thing?

Round 4 - 8 Cases Remaining

Trinity smiled at the audience, “Wow only two contestants left. Jenny is currently in first with $120,000 and Alexandra is at $95000. Let’s keep going. Valerie, start us off!”

Valerie was frustrated. More importantly she was worried. Something was off about Ciela. Valerie thought of Ciela like something of a big sister. She had to after all. Big sister’s looked out for everyone, that was alright. But something about Ciela this whole competition went beyond that. Ciela seemed to be incapable of trying to win for her own sake. During previous rounds it was like she had to be convinced to do anything for herself. She only worked hard to help her teammates succeed.

Even that stunt taking punishments during dinner. They were supposed to agree to it together, but Ciela had punished herself while Valerie was away and unable to convince her not to. Now Ciela was refusing to take a deal that would ensure her success. If she’d taken the last deal it was certain she’d move on, yet she’d passed. Isla had spent lots of time telling Valerie about her big sister. Ciela might just be the smartest one here, she was the oldest and most experienced by far too. If anyone had the chance to succeed in these challenges, it was her. She could have her wish, whatever it is, and yet she was throwing it away.

Well, Valerie had never been the most noble person, but she felt something new. A desire to help. She wasn’t going to let Ciela purposefully lose. No, Valerie was going to ride this wave down with her, play chicken until the end. She’d keep trying to convince her to win, but in the end it might come down to their actual cases. Ciela probably knew better than she did, at this point they both probably had bimbo cases. Valerie looked up at the copies of Isla holding cases on stage. Sorry love, Valerie thought,I don’t want a transformation, but I want to help your sister.

Valerie had to pick a case, #17 was another bimbo symbol, ‘Breasts.’ Then Ciela found 10 cents, and Jenny found $10 dollars. This was crazy, the pot would go even higher now. Unless the next case was the million….Valerie and Ciela could win. It was Alexandra’s turn, she picked case 13. One of the Felicia’s opened it to reveal…another bimbo symbol! This was was for ‘Lips’

“Wow, you girls have a knack for finding those symbols. Maybe you all have the big money in your cases? We’ll find out soon enough. Let’s see the Producer’s offer…wow, it’s going up again. $190,000 this time. Well girls, what’ll it be?”

Valerie tried to remember what had been picked. Of the 12 bimbo cases, there were 4 left. 4 cash prizes too, presumably with an average value around $160,000. Each of them had a case, and 4 cases were left to pick. She wasn’t great at math, but she figured if they found the million dollar case next round the pot would drop below Jenny, maybe even Alexandra. Worse, if they kept going they had 50/50 odds of finding a bimbo case.

If neither of them took this deal, it seemed like they were racing towards last place, possibly both ending up with new transformations. That just wouldn’t do. She turned to Ciela, “Ciela, take the fucking deal!”

Ciela shook her head, “No! You take it. I want you to win Valerie. I don’t want to win!”

“Why not! You lost everything! The rest of us, well, ok most of us…we chose this one way or another. I wanted to be with Eric. You…you lost magic, centuries of life, all your other relationships. Just be selfish, goddamn it!”

Ciela looked like she was about to say something, but then she shook her and slammed the lid over her button, rejecting the deal.

“Fuck Ciela!” Valerie rejected it too. She didn’t know why, but she just couldn’t let Ciela lose on purpose.

Trinity was stunned to silence, it took her a moment to compose herself, “Wow….um…greedy girls. I’m not sure I know what’s going on here…” Trinity seemed genuinely confused. Valerie couldn’t blame her. It looked like they were both being fools. Which was accurate in a way. “Well there are only 4 cases left. For this round we’ll just open two. Ciela, you first.”

Round 5 - 4 Cases Remaining

Ciela picked a case to reveal $500,000. Ouch, that was going to cause the prize to drop. Valerie looked at the three remaining and made her choice. Isla opened the case to reveal a bimbo symbol, Fetish.

Trinity felt a message from the Producers enter her brain. It was always odd, she couldn’t wait to end her career as a host and end these. It wasn’t like a text message given her instructions, it was more like an intention, driven straight into the core of her being. Unnerving was the only way to describe it, but she kept her smile as she delivered the message, “The Producers like what’s going on here. Two sluts who really, really want to be bimbos. They are willing to help you two out. This is the deal, they’ll give you both $100,000 for your cases, putting you both in the middle, safe, without winning. Since tiebreakers are just between those tied, you’ll have to open your cases, but you can’t possibly jump to first place.”

Trinity internally begged them not to take it. The Producers wouldn’t make her say something like that if one or both of them didn’t have bimbo symbols in their cases. Even for the meaningless tiebreaker, Trinity knew she’d have to enforce that rule.

Valerie once again begged Ciela to take it, but Ciela didn’t hesitate this time. Valerie swore, but rejected it too. Trinity thought she understood what was going on now, Ciela was trying to lose and Valerie was trying to stop her from losing.

“Wow…um. Ok. . Two cases left. One case at a time now. Valerie. Pick.” Trinity said.

Round 6 - 2 Cases Remaining

“Case 19.” Valerie said. Beatriz opened the case to reveal….one million dollars.

“Ah, the big one. Well no chance of either of you winning now, you should have taken the last offer. Now one of you is going to be eliminated. It doesn’t really matter now, so the Producer will give you $11000 for your case. This is your final offer. If you reject this, we’ll open the final case, and then both of yours.”

Valerie looked over at Ciela, “Ciela. Please. Let me do this for you. I don’t know why you are doing it, but you don’t have to give up your shot at a wish. I’ve decided for myself. I have a wish, but I don’t need magic to make it come true. If you want to make me happy, if you want to make all of us happy, take this fucking deal. Unless you can honestly tell me you really have no desire, no wish, I won’t take it to matter what.”

Ciela stared back at Valerie. A wish…if she looked deep inside…it was there. She couldn’t tell Valerie she had no wish. What did it mean to put others above herself? Would it really be respecting Valerie to disobey her wishes? Her hand hovered over the button and she sighed, “You really mean it?” She asked Valerie.

“Of course I fucking mean it! Take the offer!” Valerie yelled.

Ciela nodded and pushed the button. Valerie sighed in relief and rejected hers, avoiding a tie.

“Thank fuck,” Valerie said, without malice in her voice. She smiled at Ciela, “I know I might still win, but I have a good feeling about this. Or a bad one,” Valerie laughed and shook her head, “but that’s ok. Ok Trinity, I’m ready. Let’s see it.”

“Yes, well, that was more dramatic than it had to be. Okay, Valerie. It’s just you. One case left, and the case you picked at the beginning. I’ve been given the leeway to offer you a final choice. You can keep your case, and we’ll open it. Or you can swap with this case and open that one instead. What’ll it be?”

Valerie shrugged, “I don’t know. I don’t know if there is any difference, it’s all random right? I’ll just keep it.”

Trinity nodded, “Alright then. Kali, open the final case!” Kali opened her case to reveal $10000. “Well, there are four cases left, held by each of you. Three of these are bimbo cases. Before we get to Valerie, Ciela, why don’t you open yours?”

Ciela grabbed her case and flipped it open, showing it to Valerie. Bimbo - Face.

“Ok, now Jenny.” Jenny nodded and opened hers, Bimbo - Voice. “Finally Alexandra shows us yours.” Alexandra was ready waiting, she opened hers to reveal $50000.

Ciela’s heart sank. She knew it was likely Valerie had a bimbo case. Not just from the odds, but because of the nature of the Producer’s offer. She looked over at Valerie. Valerie didn’t look upset at all. Did she not realize there was only a bimbo case left? No, she definitely knew. She didn’t care, she’d won by losing, getting Ciela to make it to the next round. Without waiting for Trinity she opened her own case. The bimbo symbol was staring back at her, “Vocabulary? What does that mean?” Valerie asked.

Trinity looked sad as she replied, “Oh well the audience will get to vote on a new transformation for you. This transformation will completely change your vocabulary. The change won’t impact your intelligence, just the words you use to express yourself. However the change is permanent, no matter what you’ll never be able to learn new words. For example if they chose a Klingon vocabulary, you’d only ever speak that and never learn a word of English. Well, let’s see your options!”

Third Person Bimbo - Valerie will only be able to refer to herself in third person and will add unnecessary sexual references into her speech

French Immersion - Valerie will become a native French speaker, with limited knowledge of English.

Proper English - Valerie will adopt a very posh accent and way of speaking. No more swearing and she’ll keep her manners front and centre in her choice of words.

Silly Slut - Valerie's language will become less serious and full of sexual innuendo.

Simply Sweet - Valerie won't remember how to speak harshly to anyone, she'll call others cute nicknames like Honey and Sweetie and always sound pleasant

Valley Girl - So like Valerie will so totally speak like this. Oh my gawd!

One Syllable…Or Less - Valerie won’t be able to say any words with more than one syllable.

“While the audience is voting we also have to deal with those moving on, who did not win,” Trinity snapped her fingers and all 24 cases appeared on stage, “Alexandra, Ciela, the cases have been refilled. You'll each pick one. 12 have 0VP, 6 have -3 VP, 3 have -5VP, one has -10 VP, and there is one physical and one mental bimbo case. Go ahead, pick anything.”

Alexandra picked first, choosing #4. “Fuck.” She said quietly as a -3 VP was revealed, “Oh well. Could be worse.”

Alexandra 119 VP -> 116 VP

Ciela picked case 24 and smiled as a zero was revealed.

“Well personally I am happy with those results, but the Producers would have loved another transformation. They've decided to offer Jenny a deal. Jenny, if you pick a case and find VP, you can give it to someone else instead of losing it. What do you say?” Trinity asked.

Jenny laughed, “Fuck no. I'm not smart but I'm not dumb either.”

Ciela heard someone snicker but Trinity looked very happy, “Good choice. Now then we need to keep this show moving. We'll announce the voting results right before the next challenge. The four surviving contestants must now return to their dressing rooms, you'll find a special outfit waiting for you. Don't worry about timing, I'll summon you when I'm ready. Oh, and no fraternizing, stay in your rooms!”

Ciela looked at the others, but her eyes lingered on Valerie. She wasn't sure what to say to her, so she decided to say nothing right now. She went off to get ready for the next challenge.
