Billy can't get to Karen's phone

The rest of the night was a series of Billy trying to excuse himself, and Selena refusing to leave his side. No matter what he tried, no matter what idea he came up with, she was on him like glue. Even when he tried to excuse himself to the bathroom, she following him cheerily so she could talk to him through the door.

He couldn’t get into Karen’s room like this. He couldn’t try to steal her phone. And he couldn’t think of any way to get Selena away from him.

Soon enough, Karen returned with the groceries. And now, an awkward dinner and a strange night’s sleepover was all that stood between Billy and tomorrow’s utter humiliation.
