Billy's back with some company

"I'm home!" a male voice calls out from the front entrance of the big house and you and Kendra look at each other.

"It's Billy," Kendra says with a sigh. It's hard to tell how she feels about his arrival and she seems to be torn about what to do.

"Honey?!" Billy calls out. "Kendra? Alexa? I'm home! I brought some of my work buddies over for a drink!" he continues but Kendra doesn't respond and you don't know where Alexa is or if she can hear him. You're pretty sure their mother is not home either. Next you hear Billy say something but you can't hear what it is because he's not shouting it. He's probably talking to his buddies. You hear a set of footsteps up the stairs and you wonder what you should do. Should you get dressed and get the hell out of here?

Before you can decide, Kendra rushes over to the door of the room, shuts it quietly and locks it from the inside. She then turns around and raises a finger to her lips, telling you to stay silent and you nod.

"Kendra? Alexa?" Billy's voice calls out at the top of the stairs and you hear his footsteps outside. He tries the door from outside. "Weird," he remarks when it doesn't open and he moves on. You continue to hear his footsteps around and it seems like he's finding nobody around. Alexa must not be in her room or maybe her door is locked. Billy speaks again when he's near the top of the stairs. "Sorry guys, looks like nobody's home," he says loudly. You hear groans of disappointment from his friends. "Well, let's check out by the pool. Maybe they're outside. It's a nice day. Otherwise, we'll crack open some beers and chill until someone gets home," Billy says and there's some agreement among his friends.

"Shit!" you hear Kendra gasp and you turn to her. She's standing by the curtains and peeking out the patio at the back of the house and you go to join her to see what she's seeing.
