Bigger ring with smaller diamond

While the other ring would sell for more, this ring is less gaudy, and would be less likely to draw questions when you try to sell it. You slip the band onto your ring finger, the small diamond small enough that it doesn't bang into your other fingers.

As you inspect the ring, the strange writing suddenly glows. Not very bright, but it is visible. It must be cursed! You panic, but the ring is very tight on your finger, so it is slow to come off.

Looking at it again as it passes your knuckle, you notice the glowing is gone. Weird. Maybe it only works when it is all the way on your finger? You slide it back down, but it doesn't glow. Huh, must have been a trick of the light. Weird.

Glancing around the room again, you see nothing else to steal, but you do see a thin layer of dust on everything. Hmph, someone should have cleaned this!

Setting out down the halls, you see a painting of a gorgeous princess. She'd be prettier on her knees.

Wait, what? That was a hell of a random thought.

Continuing down the halls, you become increasingly irritated for no apparent reason. You just feel like this isn't something you should be doing. After all, you're a man!

As you ponder this, you turn a corner and arrive in a small kitchen, complete with table and cooking fire. Even more surprisingly, there's someone in there, cooking! And she's nude!

An elegant brunette, wearing nothing but an apron and braided hair, is making something in a pan over the fire. You prepare to run, but she sees you and smiles. "Honey! You're home!" she says, loading eggs from the pan onto a plate.

"Uhhhhh..." you say, words failing you.

"Long day?" the woman smiles, setting the plate down on the table. "Come on, honey, sit down and eat your eggs. I'll finish that bread you love so much!"

This woman acts like she knows you, even like you're married, but you have no idea who she is. Then again....it's a hot, nude woman who knows her place, you can't pass this up!
