Bigger Booms

"MMM yeah, I think I can help out with that. One sec..."

Mari slunk back into the book as Trist shruged and downed some more of that beer. It had grown on her over the past... half hour or so? As she lost herself in the saucue a bit, Mari cracked open a small side door inside her home. It had been something she'd been testing. Well, testing wasn't really possible given she was in the book by herself. More theory crafting. But now that she had a Master, well why not give it a shot?

"Well now my pretty, time to show the world what you can do." the Imp said as she walked over to a barrel and cracked it open, "Time to put on a show."

She brought her hand down and ran her fingers through the fine powder before her.

See, every Mistress got a run down of how the book work. Either innately by way of throwing all that info into their minds, or a large book inside the tome that helped explain the mechanics and rules that they found themselves in. Sometimes both. But Mari knew the 'limit' of the tome and how it could only convert the user or those nearby. That was something she had tried to solve, the 'range' problem. And the powder before her was that answer.

The gunpower was infused with her's and thus the book's essence. It was a part of the Tome as much as she was or more comparatively; the bed, sheets, and clothes supplied inside. If she was right, the powder should have a simliar corrupting effect on those exposed to it. Either by using said powder, or being shot by bullets using it. Maybe even explosives. And Trist seemed to be the kind of gal to get into fights or shootouts for one reason or another.

If Trist wanted some help with her guns, well, this was one way of doing that.

"So this your GOOOOOD stuff?" Trist slurred out a bit before blinking a few times.

She had maybe drank too much by this point which was weird, her bottle never seemed to empty out.

"Of course boss, after all even I need a way of making my guns work." Mari cheerfully responded, "And I'm pretty sure it's got a bit more kick to it much like my moonshine. Here watch."

She easily tossed her own bottle into the air and quickly grabbed her pistol, making sure to spin it in a showy manner before firing it. The bottle shattered, revealing it was empty. She then spun around to aim at her work table, a large solid slab of wood full of all sorts of trash, materials, and other weights. While the shot didn't destory it like the bottle, the entire object was shoved a decent ways across the room. Trist's eyes were wide and her mouth was open... but her jaw was fighting not to clentch.

"Oh relax boss, I'll fix it for you." Mari said as she put her pistol away, "Point is this has a lot more kick than your stuff. Mind you, this might only be the absolute case for ME cause well.... magic stuff. Now if you wanna give it a go..."

"OH yeah... sure! I mean..." Trist started moving towards her worktable to get the tools out, "What's the worst that could happen?"

Mari's grin widened the moment she was sure her new boss couldn't see her.

"Locked, loaded, and ready to rocket!"

Tristana headed down towards bot lane before her squadmates could say anything. She'd been terribly eager to try out the new Imp Powder so much that she pushed ahead to see if she could get a few shots in on the first person she stumbled across. Granted this might end up making her give up first blood but... that's what Flash is for right?

The power worked well for her cannon and bomb, and the range on her jump had nearly doubled. She SHOULD be unstoppable but that's when Mari had to be the resonaible one of the pair. After all if others saw her jumping, shooting, and blasting twice as hard, they'd know something was up. And she wasn't willing to let her boss risk HER existance just for some silly little show off stat boost.

So she had to hold back, only using the powder in some of her shots. But she could use it for her more notable shots(just not the rocket jump). And it wasn't like she could lie to Mari. For one she seemed pretty wise to stuff like that and Trist wasn't entirely big about lying... more just omitting certain bits of information.

No the real reason was that she had the book strapped to her belt. A 'good luck charm' when questioned before the battle. The explosive power of said powder faded rather quickly the further away she took it away from the book. In fact, it took only a few yards for it to just turn back to normal powder. So she had to sneak the book in with her to the battlefield.

So there she was in the 'bottom' part of the field. More than likely she'd run into one of the bot lane pair while trying to ward, or maybe their Jungle posistion. Maybe mid if they were doing something tricky..., top lane was a VERY very rare chance of being down here and if that was the thing; she'd probably give up first blood.

Still she couldn't wait to try out her weapon now. Just left the question.
