Big

"Are you sure?"

Xander laughed a little. "Buff, I feel fine. More than fine. A big guy like me? This is nothing. I can carry Giles some more. Hell, I feel like I could carry you and Giles at the same time." Xander gave her a worried look, "How's the leg?"

Buffy huffed and tried to put her full weight on her right leg only to wince, "Not great. But I heal fast. So... y'know... not a real problem for me."

Xander dipped his head, "Sure. You're fine. Or will be fine, tomorrow. You're just in pain right now."

"Tomorrow. I'll be fine tomorrow. " Buffy agreed as she limped along.

Xander leaned over towards her, "I'm just saying I'm a big strong guy with wide shoulders... so if you want to take it easy and, say, ride those wide shoulders... you, y'know, could."

Buffy shook her head and looked up at her big macho friend. It was too easy to forget that his large linebacker like physique meant he was was actually strong. In the supernatural world they lived in being a nearly six and half foot tall, 250 lbs of muscle strong guy didnt exactly mean much. Hell, she could remember when he was still a regular sized skinny guy before he started working out and had a growth spurt. She reached out and patted his big bicep. "You just worry about carrying Giles, K?"

"Not a problem." Xander hefted Giles up a little.

"You don't have to." Buffy raised her arms, "I can carry him."

"Neeeewp." Xander shook his head. "Buff, I got this. Let me use these big muscles for once. You just rest your leg."

"Fine." Buffy rolled her eyes and added sarcastically. "Big guy."

She whispered out of the side of her mouth and gave him a pointed look down. "Just don't get too big. People might think you are over compensating."

"Hey!" Xander exclaimed. "There is nothing wrong with... I mean... I... there's... I'm big all over dammit!" Xander finished in a snit.

Buffy stiffled a giggle and grinned up at him and again patted his arm reassuringly. "Sure. Sure you are."

"I am! I'm... I'm..." Xander stopped as he wasnt going to say how big his equipment actually was. Buffy would probably smack the crap out of him for saying how big his dick was. But at the same time he didn't want to give the impression that he wasn't... measuring up.

"I am well above average, thank you very much." Xander said snippily.

"Uh huh." Buffy rolled her eyes. "I believe you."

Xander actually growled, "Not funny, Buff. Some things you just dont joke about. A guy's, uhm, equipment is one of them."

"I thought you were a secure guy. Certain in your masculinity and all that." Buffy raised a questioning eyebrow.

"I am." Xander agreed. He was. Really. But... "But jokes like that... that's how rumors start. And as healthy as my sense of self might be, I still don't want to be the schools punching bag." Xander grimaced, "I get enough crap already, I dont need dick jokes following me around."

"No, no. You'd prefer we all just bow in awe before your mighty endowment." Buffy snorted.

"Well..... yeah." Xander agreed, "It's better than everyone pointing and laughing." He looked down at Buffy who was looking up at him with raised brows. "I mean... it'd never happen cause, look, I'm big but not that BIG. Nobody is bow down in worship big."

"Uh huh." Buffy rolled her eyes. "Guys."

"We are what we are. And even if you are BIG you still worry about, y'know, not being big enough. Cause thats what everyone will mock you for." Xander shrugged. He knew he was above average. Hell, he was above average for a porn star. But he still worried. Every once in a while. "Hey, men have penis size issues while women have weight, boob and pretty face issues."

Buffy groaned and shook her head. "That's so messed up."

"Yeah. Thanks, societal beauty standards." Xander harrumphed.
