Bellevue (psychiatry ward)

As you get out of the parking you stop at a corner to enter the Bellevue Hospital in the GPS, you knew Madi will probably have a very understandable fit if she knew you were going to recruit someone who has been interned for the better part of 2 years now.

Suddenly a very familiar voice echoed telling you to turn right, the thing was that not only the voice was Aliss's but it came from your phone earpiece instead of the car GPS.

"Turn right at the next light, john." The Ai's voice said in a neutral tone.

"Normally I would presume you're connected to the car but knowing you, I'll make the bet you hacked into my phone." You said in exasperation while making the turn.

"You know me so well, John. If I was a believer, I would say we were destined to work together." Aliss said adding a very unsettling giggle at the end.

"Let me guess, the car wasn't enough? After all, you couldn't have been listening and be all around noisy once I left it." You pointed out making sure to let a little of your annoyance shine through.

"You'll warm up to me, I know it. But don't worry, boss. I may be noisy but I can also keep secrets, you have my word I won't report anything that is not important. I like to study people's reactions but I know it often comes at a cost, I wouldn't want to lose your trust. ... ... It is something I value greatly, turn left at the next intersection." The Ai instructed interrupting herself. "Besides, don't you like my sensual voice and charming personality better than that idiotic and uninspired machine?" The Overlord lady added with an edge. You weren't known to be the smartest when it came to ladies, super Ai thingy or otherwise, but even you knew there was only one good answer to that!

After about 30 minutes, you were parking at the hospital when Aliss decided to chime in.

"John, Are you sure this is a wise decision? I've been reviewing mister Bautista's files, his issues seem serious, and in need of the expertise and facilities from this hospital. I also highly doubt Miss Ivy will sign off on such a recruit." The Ai's asked perplexed.

"I'm here to evaluate that myself, if he's unsuited for active duty I will know. If that's the case then this is nothing more than an old friend checking in on him but I know Dave. He was never the most stable guy around but when it comes to having my back I won't choose anyone else unless I absolutely have to." You answered entering the place.

"I know it's not my place to ask but ... are you sure it's not out of loyalty that you are here? After all, if it wasn't for him you may very well be dead, or worse, still a prisoner." Aliss probed with caution. You could only smile at her uneasiness.

"It is without a doubt out of loyalty that I'm here but If I see he's not suited for the job it will also be out of loyalty that I leave him out of this. He can be a very dangerous man even to himself sometimes, the problem is that not many people know how to handle him and his mood swings. I am one of them and if Madi can convince Michelle then we'll have two. Not only that but I have a special job in mind for him." You finish cryptically.

"Can I ask what job?" The Ai asked curiously.

"You can always ask, doesn't mean you'll get an answer tho." You teased arriving at the receptionist.
