Bell vs Viola

As Bell followed Viola through the Hedge Maze, she realized that just because she had found the Gym Leader, that doesn't mean she had actually reached the end of the maze. Viola had just been waiting in one of the few safe(well, safer) parts of the maze. So as Bell followed Viola through the maze, a maze the older woman seemed to know like the back of her hand, she was glad that she hadn't had to try to navigate the rest of it by herself.

After a few minutes of navigating the maze, Viola leads Bell through a bright opening. As Bell steps through the passageway she was momentarily blinded by the bright lights. Before her eyes adjusted to the lights she heard the noise of the crowd. As her eyes readjusted she realized where she was.

She was in the Gym Arena, an arena which was surrounded by a ring of seats which where, well not packed full but not empty either. Viola gives Bell a comforting smile before telling her, "Don't be nervous, most of them aren't close enough for you to hear anything. Except for the guest seating."

That got Bell's attention. "The guest seating?"

"Oh, for family and close friends of the Challengers. Your fiancé is in them actually." The older woman points to some of the seats and sure enough, Bell can see Louis sitting in the front row, waving at her.

Trying to keep calm, Bell asks "How do know Louis?" She'd have to wait until later to, correct, the topic of them being engaged. Something her and Louis specifically were NOT. Seriously, the nerve of the man! Where does he get off telling people that they were engaged?! He'd never even ASKED HER!?

Either not noticing or ignoring Bell's growing frustration Viola goes on, "Oh, the camera crew interviews anyone associated with the challengers. When it became clear you might actually get through they played it on the big screen. You two are very cute together. Oh, here is again."

Wait, what is she talking about? But before Bell could voice her question she hears and then sees what Viola was talking about. Because on the multiple big screens is a recording of her and Louis. More specifically it is a recording from someone's personal device of them leaving the dressing room earlier that day, her hair and cloths a mess and a satisfied smirk on Louis' face. Whatever sound the video might have seemed to have been removed and replaced with the announcer's commentary. "Looks like the crowd favorite Bell managed to make her way through the Maze of INFESTATION! For those of you who missed it here is exclusive footage of our young challenger and her fiancé taken just a few hours ago." As the announcer is speaking the amateur footage shows Bell and Louis making a hasty exit from the store. As the two of them leave camera zooms in onto her ass, then downward to a glob of white cum that had dripped out of her and onto the red carpet. "Ah, young love..."

If Bell could die from embarrassment she would have. For now she would just have to settle for going so red in the face that her face matched her skirt.

Viola for her part seems completely unfazed. "He really is handsome..." Clapping her hands she turns towards Bell, "Now then, shall how about we put in a show?"

"YES!" Anything to stop them playing that clip.

As if someone could hear Bell's voice and was mocking her, the video feed switched to a recording of Louis speaking to, well someone . "Why yes I know someone making the challenge today. Bell, my fiancé."

A few seconds later the feed switched to a recording of Weevil of all people. "Yeah, I know the challenger. Got her to suck my cock a few days back. She's REALLY good at that. Which makes sense, she is a slut. She doesn't even wear panties."

She was going to kill them! She was going to kill the BOTH OF THEM! Right after she beat Viola. "Battle, NOW!"

Smiling, Viola takes a confedant pose. "Eager now, aren't we? I can't blame you. If I had a handsome sugar daddy like that waiting for me I'd be eager to get back too. This will be a two v two."

"He's not my sugar daddy!" Pointing forward dramatically Bell shouts out "You got this Chester!"

(Init Bell d6 v Viola d10; 4 v 29! Sweet Jesus! Guess Bell is lucky that was wasted on an INIT roll :D) Viola doesn't let herself get caught off guard though and immediately tells her Vivillon to use "Quiver Dance" (6, 9; +1 Attack)

"Rollout!" (Rollout+4 for flying/bug, +1 Hard Stone; 10, 9; THIS is why I saved that Master Point, CRIT TIME 1/3 wounds left on Vivillon) As Bell watches Chester collide with the flying bug Bell can't help but smile. Seriously, she was starting to get sick of these things.

"Could have fooled me, Struggle Bug" (Struggle Bug+2 for grass, +1 Quiver Dance; 5, 10; Not a crit since Chester has a 5 Toughness) Viola's well trained bug lands a solid hit.

But Chester is one tough fighter. "Rollout again!" (Rollout +4+1+1; 8, 8; the Vivillon Faints) Watching Chester roll into and through the bug puts a smile on her face. "He's just useful, that's all!"

Viola sends out a Beedril, this one just as angry and terrifying as Weevil's. "Fell Stinger!" (Fell Stinger+2; 7, 7; 2/4 wounds left on Chester) Quickly following its owner's command, the Bug flies towards the rolling grass Pokémon. The attack hits, but Chester keeps on rolling. "Oh, so you fuck him because you want something from him?"

"Rollout!" (Rollout+2SE+1HardStone+2Repeat; 7, 8; Beedrill 2/3 wounds) Continuing its roll, and building up more momentum, Chester rolls into the Beedrill, landing a solid hit on the angry yellow monster. "No, I fuck him because he's GOOD!" As the words leave Bell's mouth she can feel the blood drain from her face.

Viola starts smirking of all things. "Fell Stinger." (Fell stinger+2; 7, 9; 1/4 wounds for Chester) A smirk which she maintains as she watches her Beedrill's attack land on the Chespin. "Oh, so you're a slut than?"

"Rollout! And I am NOT A SLUT!" (Rollout+2SE+1Hardstone+3Repeat; 11, 11; Using the point of "Inspiration" for another CRIT!) To Bell's gratification Chester rolls into the Beedrill and they both watch in mutual surprise as the angry yellow bug goes flying across the stage. It falls onto the ground and does not get back up.

Even the announcer, who Bell had just now noticed was actually speaking seemed surprised. "What an upset folks! The Challenger just took out two of Viola's Pokémon, with a grass Pokémon of all things!"

Viola didn't seem upset or frustrated. In fact she seemed pleased. "Ah, I see you trained him well." She takes a few paces towards Bell until she is within arm's distance and then holds out her hand. "Congratulations, you did well."

Looking at the hand she sees that Viola is holding a badge, the Bug Badge.

Silently and in partial disbelief, Bell watches as Viola pins the badge to her shirt. The gym leader then grabs her arm and holds it up as she turns to face the crowd. A crowd which is currently clapping, unenthusiastically. Viola gives Bell a look out of the corner of her eye. "Don't mind them. They were just hoping you'd lose so that I could have my way with you. But since you won they don't get their show..." The older woman then gives Bell a playful smile. "Unless you want to have your way with me?"

(One Page Oracle: Yes/No[Unlikely]: 2, 6; No, AND just the suggestion makes Bell go red in the face from embarrassment.)

Stuttering as she tries to answer, Bell can barely form a response. "NO! I mean, your pretty... But... Ummm...."

To Bell's relief, Viola doesn't seem insulted. "Don't worry about it. Now how about we get out of the arena? Since you won you get to have your picture taken with yours truly where I will give you your ceremonial TM, don't worry it works. But you also have to sit through an interview. On the plus side though, SNACKS!"

At the sound of food, Bell feels her stomach growl. "Food sounds great right about now." With that, Viola pulls on Bell's hand, leading her towards a large pair of double doors at the other end of the arena.

Bell gets 2d6 (6) Money for beating Viola, and +1 Pokémon XP for the battle.
I honestly considered having this be a 3 v 3 fight. But the first two Gym Challenges usually have you fight 2 Pokémon so that's what I did. Besides, this was already feeling like a repeat of Bell v Weevil. I didn't want to drag it out.

But this fight could have gone sideways FAST! Viola had a Tactics d10 v Bell's d6. With her type Specialist[Bug] Edge she was also rolling d8s for her Bug moves while Bell was rolling a d6 for Rollout. But no, Chester not only pulled through, dude soloed the battle!

I'll have to have him Evolve soon :D
