Behind the Scenes: Day 3 Dice Rolls

I probably could have posted this during the daytime chapters, but the collab (and the subsequent "weird for me" publication times) distracted me. Still, here are the dice rolls if you want to see the clicky-clacky math rock logic:
Performance skill training:
- Tessa: Performance Skill Check. Tina “Help” action grants Tessa advantage. Rolled 3d6, +2 modifier, Rolled a 7 (Partial Success). Rolled 2 XP.
Survival skill training:
For Gaia and Craig’s survival training, I added some extra rolls:
- Round Zero: Gaia Perception check – Roll 2d6 +1, Rolled an 8. Rolled an encounter (1d100), Rolled a 95. Rolled 1d4 for giant boars. 2 boars. Starts ritually casting Speak with Animals
- Round One: Gaia Persuasion check – Food presence provides advantage. Roll 3d6, Rolled an 8, MOAR FOOD! to appease the boars. Gaia is out of gas station snacks!
Then, for the actual survival training roll:
- Craig: Survival Skill Check. Gnollish Training grant Craig advantage. Rolled 3d6, +0 modifier. Rolled a 7 (Mixed Success). Rolled 4 XP.
- Gaia: Survival Skill Check. Nyadia “Help” action grants Gaia advantage. Shifter Training grants Gaia advantage. Rolled 4d6, +1 modifier. Rolled a 13 (Full success [can’t crit]). Rolled 5 XP.
- Gaia Quest: Craig Partial Success. Rolled 1d12. Rolled 2 BP
Longsword weapon training:
For Kevin’s afternoon training, I handled it a bit differently. We got a spar against Tessa. Should be potentially interesting. Both have Heroism up, at least initially:
Round 1:
Tessa: action – sword, 8 to hit, Kevin temp HP: 1, bonus action – other sword, 6 (miss)
Kevin: Temp HP back to 2, 10 to hit, Tessa HP left: 19, 10 on concentration check (save)
Round 2:
Tessa: Temp HP back to 2, action – sword, 5 to hit (miss), bonus action – other sword, 13 (crit), Kevin HP left: 22, 8 on concentration check (save, disadvantage on conc check next round)
Kevin: Temp HP back to 2, 11 to hit, Tessa HP left: 15, 5 on concentration check (fail)
Round 3:
Tessa: action – sword, 5 to hit (miss), bonus action – other sword, 8 to hit, Kevin temp HP: 1
Kevin: 7 to hit, Tessa HP left: 12
Round 4:
Tessa: action – sword, 8 to hit, Kevin temp HP: 1, bonus action – other sword, 6 (miss)
Kevin: Temp HP back to 2, 9 to hit, Tessa HP left: 9
Spar called (Kevin Wins)
- Kevin: Longsword Attack Check. Aelene “Help” action grants Kevin advantage. Tessa “Help” action grants Kevin Advantage. Rolled 4d6, +2 modifier, Rolled an 11 (Full Success). Rolled 4 XP.
Arcana Expertise training:
For Andromeda, we have a spar between herself and Mattie
Round 1:
Mattie – Ray of Frost, Elvish Accuracy grants Mattie advantage. Roll 3d6, +3 modifier. Rolled a 9 (Mixed Success, half damage), Lethal damage for Andromeda, cums.
Andromeda – Ray of Frost, Roll 2d6, +2 modifier. Rolled a 12 (Full Success), Mattie Reaction: Absorb Elements (gain cold resistance), Mattie takes 1 damage.
Round 2:
Mattie – Ray of Frost, Elvish Accuracy grants Mattie advantage. Roll 3d6, +3 modifier. Rolled a 14 (Critical Success, double damage), Andromeda Reaction: Absorb Elements (gain cold resistance), Lethal damage for Andromeda, Andromeda SP left: 1, cums.
Andromeda – Ray of Frost, Roll 2d6, +2 modifier. Rolled an 11 (Full Success), Mattie Reaction: Absorb Elements (gain cold resistance), Mattie takes 1 damage.
