So, with really only 2 delvers back in the hotel really capable of running a delve, I figured I’d bring back the one shot Harper built for Skye (back from Day 15). After going through all the rolls, it’s kind of a mistake (both of them cleared the scenario with barely any damage to show for it). Mattie can one-shot the regular cum rags on a crit (and, since she gets base double advantage on all of her handgun shots, she crits more often than not). When she misses the crit, bonus action disengage means she never has to deal with the melee range penalty, which means, except for the boss fight, everything is over in a round or two, with Mattie rarely taking a hit. Aelene’s armor is such that only a full success from the boss cum rag can actually deal any damage, so it doesn’t matter that her regular double-bladed scimitar deals so little damage; in fact, I didn’t bother to roll out the regular fights for Aelene once I saw that particular problem (it was annoying that the boss fight was encounter 15 of 15 when I rolled for them, too). Hopefully the boss fights are entertaining?
Curse of the Cum Rags:
Scenario: 20 Cum Rags, with 1 Greater Cum Rag as a boss.

Strategy:
Aelene is going to kill as she encounters enemies. Random rolling encounters (1 or 2 – boss fight, 3-10 – paired fight, 11+ solo fight). Remove numbers as Aelene succeeds in clearing encounters.
Mattie is going to try to clear all the solo cum rags, then the pairs, then the boss.

For the date group, I didn’t do any dice rolls until we got to the volcano problem, an abandoned Fire Giant Dreadnought too deranged to deal with.

Dual Shields: The giant carries 2 shields, each contributing 1 armor. The giant must drop or stow a shield to throw magma.
Multiattack: Fire Giant makes two shield attacks
Fireshield: Melee Weapon Attack. +2 to hit.
- Full Success: 8 bludgeoning damage, 4 fire damage, and 4 piercing damage
- Partial success: half damage OR give a chance to free dodge as a “double or nothin’”
- Fail: miss
Throw Magma: Ranged Attack. +2 to hit.
- Full Success: 12 bludgeoning damage, 9 lava damage, and the target must succeed in a dexterity saving throw of be knocked prone and crushed under said chunk of magma. Failed targets take an additional 12 lava damage at the start of their turn.
- Partial success: 6 bludgeoning damage OR give a chance to free dodge as a “double or nothin’”
- Fail: miss
Shield Charge: The giant moves 30 feet in a straight line and can move through the space of any creature sized Large or smaller. Each creature moved through in this way is targeted by a Fireshield attack. On a Full Success, the target must fully succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed along for the rest of the giant’s movement. On a Fail, the target is knocked prone, taking an additional 6 bludgeoning damage (or 12 bludgeoning damage, if already knocked prone).
