Begin the journey home.

Already a distance from the road, you decide to travel the wilderness straight south towards Crystal Lake. When you arrive there, you'll turn up towards the Eastern Pecho Peaks, and at least you'll be home at Castle Phoenix. You don't feel particularly threatened by wildlife with such a group travelling with you, especially when you're not even that far from civilization, and you already managed to survive a sports festival hosting four Demon Kings at once. There isn't really any debate now of Elok Daven's title, anyway. The Empire is going to call him one, especially if the King truly is on his side, and this was his plan all along.

It isn't long before the sun sets, and with everybody so exhausted, camp is set up swiftly. There's little time for hijinks with people's bodies and minds worn from a confusing and exhausting day. Each member of Team Festival snuggles up in their own sleeping bags, except for Peony who rests near you in the grass.

You can't help but think over all that's happened so far. Things were so different only a handful of months back. You remember the sensation of reaching a new level over night, and the great unknown that was ahead of you as new abilities came from your strange physiology. It's changed so much. You have so many allies now, as made obvious by a quick gander around the campsite. While you no longer level-up, you've already obtained abilities in other ways, and you're still unsure exactly what happened in that previous fight with Elok Daven, though you can guess. What normally was a power that came to Lauo seems to have been accessible in its absence. You have the sword back now, and it doesn't feel any different, so it must be something inside yourself.

Either way, you drift off to sleep with the stunning view of a night's sky unclouded by light--something you've come to take for granted in this world, being such a gorgeous sight, yet also eerily alien, with different stars and galaxies, though still a moon radiant overhead.
