Becky uses her wits and skill to outsmart the Gnolls

Gnolls weren't known for being particularly clever creatures. This was one of the reasons that they never progressed past tribalism to form powerful societies or nations of their own-- they simply didn't have the brains for it. This was the fact that Becky was relying upon to make her escape. The Gnolls would likely realize she was missing before too long, and when they did so, they would send out a search party to go looking.

If Becky could just hide somewhere in this cave long enough for the Gnolls to head out looking to hunt her down, then she be able to easily leave after them, just following the Gnolls out of their own hideout with them none the wiser.

She eventually settled on the Gnoll's food stock as the best place to hide, since the stench of meats and pungent fruits would do a lot to hide her scent from any searching Gnolls. Making her way extremely cautiously over to the Gnoll's food cache, Becky found a mostly empty crate, likely looted off of a passing merchant, and climbed inside, pulling the lid nearly shut above her. Then, she waited.

Sure enough, before too long, one of the Gnolls let out a distressed panic, and Becky could hear the group mobilizing in **** to look for her. One of them was barking orders, while the sounds of clanging metal suggested the rest were preparing their equipment. Becky waited until she heard their footsteps heading in the direction of the cave entrance, then slowly popped her head out-- just enough to check that the cave was empty. When she found that it was, Becky climbed out of the box and made her way carefully out of the Gnoll's breeding cave.
