Becky doesn't bother the elite guards

Becky was clearly outmatched by this pair of enemies. In a fair fight or even with the element of surprise on her side, it was doubtful that Becky would stand any chance in taking them down. While it was entirely possible that she might be able to wait for one or both of them to get distracted and wander off, leaving her with a chance to make it past them, the heavy iron door looked like it would need some time and effort to get through. It was extremely unlikely that any window she managed to find would be long enough that she could work her way past the locks installed in that door. Becky knew her way around a lock pick, but she was no burgling genius.

Eventually, after making sure that neither guard was watching for her, Becky started to make her way back down the tunnel. This time she paid a bit closer attention to the pelts on the floor, noting which creatures or species they seemed to have come from and wondering if these pelts were laid out to represent the Gnoll chieftain's personal trophies or whether they were simply the achievements of the members of his honor guard.

Before too long, Becky was back in the split chamber once again, faced with the decision of which direction to go.
