Battling Nemona

I heal up my pokemon at the nearby Pokecenter and walk over to where Nemona is standing next to the gate. I decide to be proactive instead of letting her initiate the battle.

"You look way stronger then all the other trainers on this route. How about we battle before I head up to the school?" I say, a smirk on my face, hoping my aggressiveness will win me some points with her, since she was so battle crazy in the games.
"You beat me to it. I wasn't going to let anybody through without testing them first, but you actively seeking to battle me shows promise." She says, a competitive gleam in her eye. She walks over to a open space and waits for me to do the same before grabbing one of the three Pokemon on her side. She only had 2 pokemon in the games but its probably the same level.
"Since you have three pokemon we will make this a 3 vs 3 match, if you can beat my third pokemon ill give you a reward." She says with a chuckle. I agree and we each toss out our first pokemon.
We each send out our starters, her sending our a male Quaxly while I send out Jasmine.
"Nice pick, but I can't go to easy on you." She says. She commands Quaxly to use Wing Attack while I tell Jasmine to jump over Quaxly and use Leafage. Quaxly just barely misses as he takes a Leafage to the back. It doesn't take him out but he looks hurt.
"Nice shot, you have trained your Sprigatito well."
She commands Quaxly to hit jasmine with another wing attack and this time she isnt fast enough to dodge it, taking the wing attack with the gut as her Leafage goes off, taking out the Quaxly but sustaining serious damage in return. I call her back into her ball.
She grabs the second pokeball and brings out Pawmi as I bring out Metapod.
"Really a Metapod? And here I thought you were smart." She says with a chuckle, commanding her Pawmi to use Nuzzle.
I just smirk and wait till the Pawmi is close and command Metapod to use Stringshot, causing Pawmi to get wrapped up in the sticky string. With it now being slowed down I have Metapod hit it with another Stringshot before going for the Bugbite. Pawmi hits Metapod with a Scratch, trying to claw at the heavy defense but not doing much damage as it gets hit with a second Bug Bite and goes down.
"That was Unexpected, your better then I thought. But my Third pokemon isnt a Pushover." She summons out a Goomy and I smirk before bringing out Honey.
"Neither is mine, I saved the best for last, just like you." I say, a fire starting to burn in Nemona's eyes.
"This isnt going to be easy just because you have a Fairy type." She has her Goomy Terastallize and become a Water Type. I may no longer have a super effective attack, but Honey probably overlevels the Goomy.
"I got this, you just sit back darling" I hear in my head as Honey starts fighting without my commands. She uses Hypnosis on the Goomy, putting it to sleep before hitting it with two Psybeams, knocking it **** without it even being able to attack. Nemona looks at what just happened with a shocked expression, but after a few moments the fire returns to her eyes.
"Okay now you have to be my rival, my name is Nemona." She rushes up to me after recalling her Goomy, taking my hand and shaking it a bunch.
"I promised you a Reward if you won... but I didn't actually expect you to win, so the reward will come later once I retrieve it from my room at the school."
"Ill hold you to it. I would be happy to be your Rival, on the condition that you keep rewarding me after the battles. I'm sure im going to have a lot of people wanting that Rival position once they see my potential." I say with a smirk.
"Deal, im so excited to finally have somebody who can be an actual challenge." She says with a giggle before running off towards the school.
I heal up my pokemon and the Nurse Joy tells me that Metapod is ready to evolve, so I let him out of the pokeball and after a few moments he evolves into a Butterfree, perfect for the first couple gyms.
