Barry Allen/The Flash

Barry found himself in a copy of his old house, but inside it was a old bearded man in white robes. Like the classical images of God, he began to speak to him, "Welcome, Barry."

"Where am I? Who are you?" he asked as he looked around the room.

"You're **** at the moment. And I am a being of power, so to speak. I am here to grant you a boon. A gift. The gift of truth." said the being before him.

The speedster asked the obvious question, "What do you mean, gift of truth?"

"Everything you say will become the truth. No matter what. The world around you will become what you wish it." said the man with a smile.

"I... I'm not worthy of that kind of power. I'm not sure that I can use it responsible. How can I handle that kind of power?"

"Responsiblity is like many good actions. A man saves a child from ****. Is that noble? Most say yes. Others would say no, since all humans shares so much DNA that you are ensuring your bloodline continues. A selfish act. Other would say whether or not it is selfish, it is also noble.

Actions are not good or evil on their own. It is the mixture of their intention and their results, balanced against each others and morals. By the same end, a life is judged noble or wicked not from a single action but by the results of all actions. So if you try to use this power to make the world better, while making your own life better, who is to say this isn't a responsible use of this power.

However, it is not up to me to judge. I merely am the giver of this gift. Once you awaken, it is up to you to use." was the answer, as Barry sense the dream he was in faded as he began to wake up.
