Barbara and CiCi, the "Buddy Zombies"

Some friends are drawn together through shared moments they'll carry through their lifetimes. Others happen to simply find a common interest and latch onto it. And some simply can't explain what draws them together; only that they belong together.

For these two, it's because they're dead. There seems to be no other explanation for why these two girls are such good friends. Their personalities are widely contradictory, they don't share the same clubs and only one class, an everyone at both Night School (and some during the day) seem to think they're the literal walking dead.

Barbara is someone you could easily see as an extra in a George A. Romero film. Her skin is gray, her brown hair is messy and untidy, and her clothes are old and dirty. She also has been accused of Narcolepsy, having fallen asleep in class, shuffling at a tired pace, and even passing out in the hallway on falling on her face like a cartoon character. (Dana managed to write "Pillow Princess" on her forehead when she found Barbara sleeping by her locker.) Despite all this, she somehow looks very attractive, as if her get-up is a Halloween costume done by a professional.

Cici, as mentioned before, is the total opposite. Not in terms of beauty, but in general fashion and behavior. She keeps her red hair, makeup, and clothes neat and clean and seems more "alive" than her friend. Too much so, even. Her foot bounces around constantly, her head and eyes dart everywhere like she's looking for someone, and she speaks extremely fast. Her hyperactivity and bloodshot eyes are attributed to the large thermos she carries everywhere. Everyone assumes she's hooked on coffee or soda or some kind of energy drink.

Soon, you're going to know a lot more about one or both of these girls. And they're going to know more about you. More than either of you would have liked.
